The location to the private beach is easily the best feature, use the stairs leading down to the beach rather than the trail. The owner was kind enough to leave beach chairs in the backyard.All of the bedrooms are sized nicely, and get a good amount of natural light. The dining room table is spacious and great for larger groups of people.There's a separate office space for those who might need to work. The outdoor grill is brand new and would be great for cooking family dinners.

Appreciate the one night availability and house was clean with mostly accurate description of rooms and bathrooms. Unfortunately the outside sitting area was not usable; tree branches and debris were on all of the furniture and backyard table. Driveway is shared with tenant on the left of the property and very tight parking if you have more than one vehicle. Also, there are really only 3 bedrooms, the 4th twin bedroom that’s listed is more like an office space with a leather futon/couch. To access the beach you need to walk down the street and then a series of stairs. Overall it was a comfortable stay for one night.

no ac available in the entire house, it got super hot. the bottom floor bathroom light wasn’t working as well. top floor bathroom has no lock or latch.

This is ridiculous! There are 6 AC units in the house on top of the central system. You throw an unauthorized party at my house and invite 50 people without considering all my messages and my policy.

This is a pet and family friendly home however the listing does not tell you that you have to share the backyard with the occupants of the garden cottage. The lovely beach is close by but we were told to walk through the overgrown woods to get there and 5 out of the 8 of us got ticks on them. A neighbor informed us we could rather walk down very nice wooden stairs to the beach. The property owner should have informed us. The house is very hot with no central air conditioning. The outdoor seating areas were unkempt, as was the garden. The house needs maintenance, for example there was a broken latch on a kitchen cabinet, missing backsplash tiles, badly stained mattresses, pillows and light bulbs not working.

Overall this place was fine but it felt a bit unfinished in some ways. For example, there are large pieces of art just leaning against the walls, as if they were going to be put up or taken down, but had just been left there. Also, several of the drawers in the kitchen were broken or breaking. Although it looks like they are in the middle of remodeling or replacing some pieces of the kitchen. Beds were OK, although all of the sheets smelled so strongly of scented laundry detergent that is really intense and overpowering. I know some people don’t mind that, but I am sensitive. The house is in a beautiful location with an easy walk to a steep staircase down to a secluded and beautiful beach. We enjoyed exploring that. Host was responsive and easy to correspond with.
