About this property

Organic Farm Stay with Free Feed the Animals Tour

Your completely private apartment is attached to our farm house- see our chooks, ducks, sheep and cows, or just retreat and chill in your own space. We're less than an hour from Melbourne CBD, and close to nature reserves, wineries, beaches, as well as the cafes and playgrounds of Mornington.

Your home while you stay with us can comfortably sleep 7. One bedroom contains a double bed, while the other has two sets of bunk beds, one with a double bed base. Kids and young children are welcome, however please note we don't have a cot- you will have to provide your own. In the bedroom with bunk beds is a small bookcase with board games, colouring books and toys you are welcome to play with.

We provide a welcome basket with bread, condiments, and our organic, free range eggs for you. There will be milk in the fridge as well as some cooking basics (like salt, pepper, and a local olive oil) in the pantry.

There is a small kitchen, with a fridge, electric stove, dishwasher and oven. We provide pots, pans, and crockery, if you feel like staying in and cooking, or we are only 10 minutes from Mornington if you want to eat out. The kitchen bench looks over into out open plan living/dining. There's a dining table and couch, plus a few floor cushions and blankets for cozy vibes.

There's a front loading washing machine available for you to use, and washing powder provided. Clean towels are provided at the start of your stay, and we offer to replace them every 3 days during longer bookings.

There is only one bathroom in the farm stay, so it's probably best suited to families, or those willing to share. We provide soap, shampoo and conditioner.

If you need anything else to make your stay more enjoyable please get in touch, as we are always happy to help!

Guest Access:
There's space outside for kids to run around, or for adults to sit and chill with a lovely outlook. We do ask that guests don't go past the closed farm gates without either one of us with them. We offer to take all our guests to feed the animals with us- this includes sheep, cows, alpacas, ducks, chooks and sometimes ducklings and chickens you can hold. These tours are run at 10am. Just let us know when you book that you would like to do this and we’ll organise it for you!

Other Things You Need to Know:
-There are two steps to get in to the house, so we are not wheelchair accessible.

-While we do have wifi, we are in a rural area, and it can be slow.

-The bathroom has a toilet and shower, but no bath tub.

-There is no TV

Basic but comfortable
A great place for what we needed. Nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. Rach and Matt were on site and happy to help with their local knowledge. Would stay again

Beautiful stay but was uncomfortable for sleep.
The property is beautiful, we absolutely loved the stay with all the animals. The rooms are well designed with vintage farmhouse style decor. The double bed in the main room, however sunk very deep when we lay on it and creaked a lot, to the point where it was very difficult for us to put our son to sleep and then get comfortable ourselves. Not very comfortable for two adults, also a slat fell out multiple times during our stay. The single bed was made in the second bedroom but the second bedroom was too cold to sleep in at night so we moved the matress into the room with the double bed and made do. As a traveller, my only recommendation would be to upgrade the bed and mattress as we woke up with very sore backs and could not get comfortable without making a lot of noise. The duck eggs and toast was a nice touch but would also recommend keeping small portions of butter in fridge for it.

Great place to stay
Lovely quiet setting, family loved seeing and feeding the animals. Owners were very friendly and accommodating. Would recommend.

Relaxing stay within a farm setting.
So lovely to relax with a view of different animals outside every window. Very spacious accommodation with a kitchen to prepare meals if you would like a night in. However, so close to a vast range of food options and activities. Also many attractions and beaches to visit nearby within the Mornington Peninsula.
