Beautiful and accommodating

We come into town every year for the gem show and we love staying on the nature side of I-10. This place had everything we were looking for & more. Amazing views, star gazing, wildlife, and a beautifully maintained garden and property. Thanks Rose!

Fantastic place

This house and property are indeed stunning! Incredibly quiet neighborhood. Wonderful landscaping on the property. Good communication from owner. Only 10 minutes from the wonderful Sweetwater trail system where I went almost every morning. The weather didn't allow for pool use but the pool was immaculate and I wish the weather could have been warmer so we could take a dip. Would love to return in the future to this gem!

A fabulous venue

Stunning sunset house lived up to its name, in fact we were able to watch the most magnificent sunrise from the living room picture window, and also from the rooftop balcony, while coyotes serenaded us in the distance. There is nothing I would improve about this venue, which exceeded my expectations, from the location, to the views, to the beautifully designed and decorated house, and of course, the owners, who were readily and promptly contactable.

Paradise hideaway

This home exceeded our expectations in every way - including Rose and Steves eye for detail and making sure we were comfortable. By the time we left we felt like Steve was our new best friend! The kitchen was fully stocked- the outdoor barbecue fun to grill on and the many options of where to dine in or out on the patio. The grounds around the house were covered with different cacti and we enjoyed the walk from the house up the hill to the top to view downtown Tucson. We will definitely be back!,

This house is AWESOME!

5 of us cousins rented this home while we were in Tucson for an Aunt's 90th birthday party. Each room had a different view of the beautiful desert - it was hard to decide which room to sit it - or sit outside around the pool. But for evenings it was the deck with a view of the lights of the city. We cooked breakfast together and had snacks but enjoyed eating out at least once a day. The environment was so peaceful and relaxing. Thanks for sharing your home with us - we'll be back! Also appreciated receiving our damage deposit back in such a timely matter without problem.

A comfortable spacious house that met our family reunion needs.

There several features that made this house an outstanding rental for us. We needed room for seven family members for a family gathering to soak up some warmth during the winter for several days. The house is well laid out and comfortable. There was a comfortable chair indoors and out for everyone. We especially like the location of the house high in the western hills. Except for rush hour, we seldom heard the sounds of the city. The view facing east with the fish pond near the patio and the saguaro just beyond was a favorite hangout. We would use this property again.

The house made the trip!

At this rental, you feel as though you have been invited to stay at your friend's home while they are away. The home is thoroughly decorated with southwestern flair and personal accents from the owners' travels. We enjoyed cooking in the big kitchen, prepping vegetables on the patio table at sunset, grilling on the outdoor stone hearth, and making s'mores in the fire pit. The roof deck added another fun place to socialize. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, the showers were flooded with natural light. The grounds were landscaped with cacti for as far as you could see; we saw quail every day and even a coyote in the front yard one day. We enjoyed the home so much we never felt the need to go out in Tucson!

Graduation accommodations

I rented this beautiful home for my family to stay at for the weekend of my graduation from medical school. When we arrived on the first day, we were amazed at how gorgeous the home was - it looked beautiful in the photos, but in person it is absolutely stunning. The house was very spacious and clean, with plenty of beds for the guests. We enjoyed the breathtaking views of the desert climate from inside with the large windows and also from the patio and rooftop deck. Renting the house was perfect for our family as everyone had enough privacy in their own rooms, but we enjoyed spending time together in the common rooms otherwise. Rose and Steve were very pleasant and hospitable and we are very satisfied with our decision to rent their home for this occasion. Thank you for a great experience!

Thanksgiving 2019

We were so grateful to have a house to spend the weekend in. So nice to be able to relax and stay together in one place, watch movies, enjoy meals, have breakfast and coffee in a relaxed atmosphere. The setting is gorgeous! The coi pond and feeding the fish was so fun! Four stars on cleanliness because it was pretty dusty but it is the desert. It would be nice if the owners left some shampoo and lotion but I know this is just an added benefit and shouldn’t be expected. The only hard part it is pretty far from anything, restaurants, stores, gas and activities. Would be lovely if you just wanted to get away and stay put but we were out and about quite a bit. Definitely a nice place in a lovely atmosphere.

The place to land

This was my first experience with VRBO and I hope future ones are as successful. The house more than exceeded our expectations. Plenty of room inside and out for our group to enjoy. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils, cookware, etc. The only reason we ate out our last night: we were tired of left overs. Patio was a morning favorite with a cup of coffee to listen to the birds and watch the pesky rabbits that still made it thru the fence. Definitely felt like home after a long day of activity. Watched a hot air balloon launch one early morning at sunrise thru the living room window. Will definitely want to rent again if our group is the same next year for the college softball tournament my daughter's team attends. We enjoyed being able to have a BBQ for the team and the parents attending the tournament. Nice and relaxing with the beautiful sunset enjoyed by all. But will plan more time to hang out enjoying the tranquility of the house. Thanks to Rose for making it easy with the arrangements.

Lovely home, private master bedroom and stunning- STUNNING- setting and views.

Or family of five adults stayed for five nights at this lovely home situated on aces of beautifully landscaped property on the western edge of Tucson. The master bedroom and a small bedroom share one wing with two more bedrooms on the opposite side. The large eat-in kitchen was well equipped. The family room had ample and comfortable seating for TV watching. The living room/DR was a great spot to read and to watch the sun rise over the mountains. The best was the second floor deck for watching the sun set to the west, the lights of Tucson twinkle while the mountains to the east shifted colors. Also- lovely for star and moon gazing. Given the reasonable rental price, I assumed something would be less than what the pictures conveyed. Nope- the pictures do not do justice to the loveliness of this home. It's a treasure with its only drawback being its best asset, it is on the outskirts of town. Anyone from a metro area will find the drive into the city a snap. Thank you to hosts Rose and Steve for sharing their slice of heaven with our family,
