Welcome to Triple R Retreat — Rest. Relax. Repeat. This is your perfect River escape for families, friends, and anyone who loves the water. Step into an Old Florida lodge–style home that’s been updated with clean, modern amenities and offers plenty of space for everyone to spread out and unwind.
Outside, your private river playground awaits. Enjoy the canoe, kayaks, floating lily pad, or take a peaceful float down the river in a tube. The infrared outdoor sauna overlooking the water is a guest favorite, offering the perfect spot to unwind. Evenings can be spent around the firepit telling stories or simply swaying in the hammock as the day winds down and wait for the deer or turkeys to make the occasional visit.
The home sits on the quiet side of the Blue Run and backs up to protected State Forest, offering peace and natural beauty. You’re positioned between KP Hole and the Tuber exit at blue Run, making this an ideal location for snorkeling, paddling, or exploring the pristine Rainbow River.
The home sleeps 12 comfortably, with three queen bedrooms featuring upgraded mattresses and quality linens, plus a twin bedroom with two single beds.
Downstairs, the living room includes two queen leather sleeper sofas for extra guests, and a unique coffee table that cleverly converts into a child’s bed. Every bedroom comes with its own smart TV, giving everyone a cozy spot to relax after a day on the river.
The fully equipped kitchen is designed for groups and includes everything you need to serve 12 with ease. A beverage center with an ice maker, a drip coffee maker, and a tea kettle make mornings simple and enjoyable. Many guests love bringing that first cup of coffee down to the riverbank, where a friendly otter family often visits. Gather around the large handmade dining table to enjoy meals together, or play cards, or a board game. We even have a full size shuffleboard game for fun!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Triple R Retreat. The host was very welcoming and made us feel right at home from the start.The dock overlooking the crystal-clear Rainbow River was perfect for morning coffee and listening to the evening wildlife—such peaceful vibes with otters, birds, ducks, and occasional deer or turkeys. The infrared sauna was a huge hit with the whole family after days on the water. All the rooms were very spacious and comfortable, with comfortable beds and plenty of room for everyone.We loved kayaking up the river and exploring the pristine beauty—easy access right from the property! It was super convenient to downtown Dunnellon for supplies, groceries, and restaurants (Gruff's was our favorite!).Spotless, well-equipped, and full of Old Florida charm. We made amazing memories and can't wait to come back!

This is just a wonderful spot to stay on the rainbow river. The home was peaceful and relaxing spot for my family, and most mornings I could sit out and watch the otters play. The home has everything you would need for an enjoyable time on the water as well as quick access into town.

They’re nervous first-time vacation-rental hosts — picture two people triple-checking the towels and wondering if the WiFi password is too weird — but they’re genuinely excited to share this special spot with you.

After decades of swimming, tubing, laughing, and making memories with our friends and family, we just knew this was the place of our dreams. And from your very first float, you’ll understand why people travel from all over the world just to dip their toes in these waters.

Look closely and you’ll spot the iridescent shells tucked between bright green river grasses, glittering like tiny treasures in the sun. Turtles glide by, fish dart through the clear water, otters pop up to say hello, and the river’s waterfowl put on a show daily. Nature never stops impressing out here.
