Pop a bag of complimentary popcorn and watch a movie or grab a hot cup of coffee (or cocoa for the kids) and enjoy the beautiful mountain views from your private balcony.
The View Haus is a two-story condo located on the second and third floor of the “Ridges at Chalet Village” condominium complex. Located in building “E”, it’s elevation provides the perfect view of Brian Head peak and Giant Steps Lodge.
-Living Room-
The main living area is bright and vibrant, filled with natural light. Spend the evening relaxing on the leather couch, watching the 58” Roku television with included Hulu, Disney, Netflix, Paramount + or ESPN accounts, or take off your cold boots after a day of skiing, place them on the gear dryer and take a seat in our comfortable chairs. Grab a book or listen to your favorite music on Pandora.
If utilizing the pullout couch, grab the bedding kit provided in the closet to make up an additional full sized bed. The electrical fireplace works as a great night light for those children who don’t prefer it too dark.
-Kitchen and Dining-
Cook and prepare delicious meals in our remodeled and fully stocked kitchen, including a full spice drawer for making that meal just right. Pull up a bar stool and enjoy your snacks or meals at the marble countertop. Charge your ear pods and phones for your next ski session with the two USB charging ports conveniently located on the kitchen counter. Feel like a warm drink? Brew yourself a pot of coffee or steep a cup of tea with our complimentary coffee and tea packs then go relax on the patio and watch the world go by. For the kids (or the cocoa loving adults) heat some water grab a packet of hot cocoa mix and marshmallows provided for your pleasure. Cleaning essentials are provided for your convenience, including a new sponge and dish soap for each booking.
-Master Bedroom-
Looking for some rest?…grab a blanket and get cozy on the king-sized bed. Enjoy the view of the Quakey Pines visible from the large window or indulge in your favorite tv show on the 40” Roku television. Additional USB chargers are located on the wall. Reading lights located on each side of the bed are perfect for those late night bookworms.
-Loft Bedroom-
Whether traveling with children, family or friends, the additional king size bed is large enough to satisfy any combination of sleeping arrangements. The chair and reading lights provide an additional quiet space to read a book or vibe on your favorite music.
-Bathrooms-
Just getting back from a long mountain bike ride or hike? Both floors provide full-sized bathrooms with tub showers. We have everything you need from shampoo and conditioner to body wash and Q-tips. Ample towels for 6 guests are stocked between the two. For the guest looking to take off their makeup, please utilize the black makeup towels provided. Blow dryers are also located in each bathroom.
Guest will have full access to the condominium with exception of one small closet in the master bedroom. It is locked and utilized for linens and restock.
-Parking-
As a good rule of thumb, if your vehicle fits in a standard parking stall at the grocery store, you’re good! Guests are required to follow the Association’s parking policies. Violators may be towed at the owner’s expense. See Utah Code Title 72, Chapter 9, Part 6. No overnight parking of large vehicles such as RVs, trailers, or Sprinter vans is allowed. Those vehicles may only be parked in the designated overflow parking areas.
-Food and Grocery-
The town of Brian Head is small without a major grocery store. There are two general stores on the mountain that sell grocery basics, candy, and drinks. There is also a pizza restaurant, a Mexican food restaurant and the Brian Head Lodge that serves dinner and cocktails. There is a Thai and ramen restaurant under construction. It is recommended that you stop in Cedar City or Parowan for groceries.
-Altitude-
Altitude sickness can occur in Brian Head due to the elevation and quick ascent from the valley below. Make sure you are well hydrated before coming up the mountain. Some guests recommend stopping in Cedar City or Parowan for a few hours to acclimate to the elevation before pushing forward to Brian Head. This provides a great opportunity to explore, shop and enjoy Southern Utah.
-4 Wheel Drive and Tire Chains-
4 wheel drive and/or chains may be required. To check for current conditions and regulations see the Utah Department of Transportations website.
-Code of Conduct-
All guests are required to adhere to Brian Head’s “Short Term Rental Good Neighbor Guideline.” A copy is located in the unit and can also be viewed on the Brian Head Town website.

Frequently asked questions
About the host
Hosted by Nate
We’re a California family that fell in love with the mountains of Southern Utah. We enjoy skiing and snowboarding in the winter. In the summer we fish, hike, explore and mountain biking.
Why they chose this property
Brian Head is a magical place. Still quaint in relation to most resort mountain towns but offers so much value for its size. Close to some of the most beautiful places on Earth.
What makes this property unique
The View Haus is the perfect balance of size, luxury and function for a family. It's big enough to give parents some separation from the kiddos but small enough to feel cosy and connected to your family during those winter vacations. Its newly remodelled to feel clean and modern but with mid-scaled pricing to add value to our guests.
A fully stocked kitchen, along with coffee and tea makes enjoying meals together easy. Need hot cocoa and marshmallows for the kids after a day on the slopes? Or, oatmeal before you rush out the door for that power day? We've got you covered.
Boots, gloves and beanies wet after a day of riding? Place them all on the Gear Dryer and by tomorrow, everyone's dry, happy and ready to take another day!
We set The View Haus up for families with kids because we are a family with kids... we wanted to give our guests all the things we want in a vacation home, so we did. We hope you love it as much as we do!
Cheers!
