Welcome to Aspen View Lodge!

Entire 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom condo, with private dry sauna, and private laundry within condo.

Location! This condo is in Chalet Village and only 500 yards from the front door of the condo to Brian Head Giant Steps Ski Lodge and Lifts (high speed quad!). You can walk to local restaurants, the Brian Head General Store, Brianhead Sports, and the free local shuttle service - remove the extra punctuation in the middle for the link to work: (https://www.)visitbrianhead(.org/Transportation)

PLAN AHEAD to get up and down the mountain. If coming to ski, keep in mind that you are entering severe winter conditions. You may need to either have a four wheel drive vehicle, all wheel drive, snow tires, and/or chains to get up the mountain. There are times after major snowfall that the road is closed to traffic until it is cleared. There is a free local shuttle service (stops 2 and 9 by this property) - remove the extra punctuation in the middle for the link to work: (https://www.)visitbrianhead(.org/Transportation)

Elevation in Brian Head, Utah, is nearly 10,000 feet. So, while your body adjusts over 2-3 days, you may feel winded after going up the stairs or a slight headache. These things are normal. Just take your time and take it easy. Enjoy your vacation and don`t push yourself too hard, too fast. To get you started, we will be providing toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, etc. to kick-off your stay but not potentially all that you will need for your entire stay. So, please plan ahead and purchase what you will need before you run out of your primary items. Firewood, fire starters, and matches are highly recommended for winter. Groceries and all of these items are far less expensive down the mountain. So, please plan, accordingly.
During winter months, please make sure interior doors are always closed and try to avoid having both the front door and interior door open at the same time to keep the heat inside. During winter months, the thermostats throughout the entire condo will already be set to their minimum temperature (55-60 degrees). So, it will not be freezing cold when you arrive. Please do not EVER turn the thermostats below the marked temperatures and if desiring more heat, please start at 70 degrees and give it some time to see if that is warm enough (turning all the way up is dangerous for items near the heaters). Never leave the condo with thermostats turned above 70 degrees (as it is a fire hazard) or turned below 55 degrees (a freezing hazard). Please do not ever set any items directly on or in front of the heaters (keep a regular eye on the bunk room and those less responsible in your party - recent guest burned a pillow and luggage bags or clothing can be melted). The bunk room will warm up from the heat below, so you may not need to increase the heat in the bunk room, at all. It is often very warm in the bunk room when time for bed, so plan ahead and don`t turn the temperature up in that room.

During the summer months, please note this location does not have air conditioning and leave thermostats turned off (they control the floor heaters), but we have several room fans to keep the air moving, the evenings/nights cool down significantly, and the sliding doors to the balconies include huge screens for cool fresh air at night.

To get you started, we will be providing toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, etc. to kick-off your stay but potentially not all that you will need for your entire stay. So, please plan ahead and purchase what you will need before running out of your primary items.

Feel free to reach out with any questions or issues. Please let me know if anything is missing, broken, worn-out, in need of replacement, or you feel should be added to assure you have a wonderful visit to Brian Head at our favorite mountain property (with the million dollar views!). We welcome your ideas on how we can make our property even better for future guests. We work hard to assure you have 5-star stay at SkiRay!

Enjoy our Brian Head condo as your own and please take good care of it while you are there.
