The Wagon Wheel Barndominium Within Walking Distance to Maker’s Mark Distillery

If you’re looking to relax & kickback in a remote place with family or friends then you have found your space. Our Barndominium is in close proximity to Makers Mark with a one-minute drive or a 10-minute walk to the Maker's Mark visitor center. The whole group will be comfortable in this open spacious and unique rustic place on 8 acres nestled on the banks of Hardins Creek. Many outdoor sitting areas to observe Maker’s crop land and wildlife while enjoying your morning coffee and afternoon drinks.
As you walk in the open area concept of the main living space and kitchen you’ll notice the rustic theme with all the reclaimed barn lumber. We have 2 bedrooms with queen beds and televisions, and another queen bed in the living space. There are 2 full bathrooms, and a laundry room leading out to the side deck where you’ll overlook the creek with seating available. There is a bed swing on the cover porch to relax or read a book with an outdoor dining area for 6 people. Outback there is a gas grill and extra folding chairs you can use around the fire pit. House Manual: There is a house manual with description for use and location of items in the home, information for location of nearby groceries and restaurants, and checkout instructions. You will have the entire place to yourself as well as the outside. We currently live in the barndominium in the back field. You may see us drive in and out, but other than that you will have plenty of privacy. Location: We are located on a country backroad across from Maker’s. There is little traffic besides people going to work and home, and tourist. Throughout the day you will see golf carts and rangers on the road, these are Maker’s Mark employees going to check on the fields, property, and their garden. At times in the morning you do hear the trucks coming off the hill to go to Maker’s. However, not much action on weekends, except for tourist and the occasional local side by sides and horse riders. Getting Around: You will have to drive approximately 5 minutes to the local grocery or dollar store and approximately 15 minutes to the nearest Walmart, Kroger, restaurants, and bars. As for parking our driveway is gravel with plenty of space for vehicles and trailers. Distilleries

• NO SMOKING OR VAPING INSIDE THE PROPERTY: Smoking is only permitted outside and cigarette butts should be disposed properly and not thrown on the ground. There is a metal bucket on the John Deere tractor seat by the screen door for disposal.
• NO PARTIES OR GATHERINGS ALLOWED. Our home is designed to accommodate 6 people.
• WOOD COOK STOVE: Due to insurance purposes please do not use.
• DO NOT PARK ON CONCRETE AREA: Please do not park on concrete due to damage from vehicles when parking on it.
• GAS GRILL USE: Please do not put charcoal in gas grill. If used, grill must be cleaned before departure.
• FURNITURE USE: Please use coasters when sitting drinks on furniture in all rooms of the house to protect the furniture.
• OPEN DOOR POLICY: In order to keep the air and heat working properly please do not leave the doors open for long periods when the units are operating. Also, to prevent insects from entering.
• GARBAGE PICK UP: Please place in bags, including boxes. They will not pick up if not bagged properly. Place bags in trash can located in the back near the grill. Trash pick-up is on WEDNESDAYS.
. CUTTING BOARDS USE: Please use cutting boards and not the tops of the cabinets when slicing or cutting up items.
. DAMAGE ITEMS: Please report any damage minor or major in order to be repair or replace.
. BED SWING: Please do not swing excessively in the bed swing for your safety and to prevent damage. Due to their size and weight bed swings are not made to swing like a porch swing.
