The Space:
In summer, enjoy 100 feet of private lake frontage just across the street—ideal for swimming, paddling, or simply soaking up the sun. Lounge in the hammock with a good book, take the included canoe or two-person kayak out on the sparkling blue water, or enjoy a picnic by the shore. Boaters can use the private mooring buoy, and for those who prefer to stay on land, bikes are available for exploring the area.
**All waterfront amenities are available from Memorial Day to Labor Day each year**
Inside, the open-concept second level features a fully equipped chef’s kitchen with a six-burner cooktop, double ovens, and a large island that’s perfect for cooking and gathering. The great room, screened porch, and expansive deck all offer breathtaking lake views—ideal for morning coffee or sunset dinners.
The lower level includes a cozy family room with games and cable TV, a bunk room that sleeps five, a full bath, and a relaxing sauna—perfect after a winter day of skiing, snowshoeing, or exploring the nearby Sleeping Bear Dunes. Upstairs, three ensuite bedrooms each have their own bath, and the second level den with a queen Murphy bed provides flexible sleeping space.
With Wi-Fi, central A/C, and a washer/dryer, every modern comfort is covered. End your days around the fire pit, planning your next adventure—whether it’s a summer bike ride along the Heritage Trail, a scenic fall drive down M-22, or a cozy winter night by the wood-burning fireplace watching the snow fall over Big Glen.
All guests must be 25+ unless accompanied by a parent/guardian.

A door code will be sent with check-in instructions prior to arrival.
Security Cameras - There are nine security cameras around the property. Locations are as follows:
1. On a tree, left side of driveway, facing down the driveway.
2. On the left corner of the garage, facing the driveway.
3. On the left corner of the garage, facing the garage doors.
4. Near the front entrance, facing the walking path to the front door.
5. Behind the house, on a tree, facing the screened patio stairs.
6. Back of the house, facing the generator & A/C unit.
7. Behind the house, on a tree, facing the side entrance stairs.
8. Across the street, on a tree, facing the firepit.
9. Along the lake, on a tree, facing the water.
Getting Around:
Welcome to northern Michigan, where our wintertime weather can swing from glorious to ferocious in a flash. Each of our properties has snow removal service scheduled to plow with each snowfall amounting to at least 4 inches of snow. If the vehicle you bring is not 4-Wheel or All-Wheel Drive, please be aware of the potential risks accessing the property when snow is present
Other Things to Note:
Please Note: All guests staying at this property must be 25 or older unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. This will be verified after booking confirmation.
A damage waiver fee is required by Golden Swan for each stay. For this property, the fee is $129 and provides our guests with accidental damage coverage up to $2000. If the amount of damage exceeds this, or if the damage is found to have occurred with malicious intent, Golden Swan retains the right to seek damages beyond that amount.
High chair and pack n play available upon request for an additional fee.
There is a non-refundable credit card processing fee applied to all reservations.
If the reservation is 14 days or longer there will be a required mid-stay clean. This is also available upon request for a shorter length of stay.
Dogs are allowed with an additional fee, with a maximum of 2 dogs. Please be advised that it is absolutely imperative for all renters to keep their dogs on a leash at all times. While we truly appreciate and value pets, ensuring that our furry friends are leashed or properly secured is of utmost importance to us. Please take your pup with you or kennel them when you leave the home. We cannot have lonely barking dogs left at our property. Please be considerate and clean up after your pet.
DOCK – You can expect the dock to be available for use Memorial Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. Please only use the dock for 15-minute loading and unloading of passengers. A mooring ball just beyond it is available for mooring between boat rides. Winds and waves pick up super-quick and can cause damage to boats and docks. There are no protective dock bumpers to prevent potential boat-docking issues.
