About the host
Hosted by Gregory McDonald
Our Family was founded via an MSU Michigander and former Long Islander who met while working as Engineers at Ford. After coming to Glen Arbor and M22 for almost 15 years with our Kids, we were finally Blessed to be able to buy a Summer place of our own in this unbelievable area of Michigan. We love sharing it with others and can't get enough of the town, the nearby parks and beaches, kayaking, walking, biking, hiking, pickleball, basketball, tennis, fireworks, parades, festivals, skiing, snow shoeing, wineries, lake and snow tubing, boating, curling, farmer's markets, local Churches, etc. We hope that everyone who stays at Grace Amazing gets a chance to reconnect with themselves, Families and Friends, and God Almighty in a way that is truly-unique to our 2nd home.
Why they chose this property
We had looked at properties all over the M22 corridor, but had always loved this home. We were shocked when it became available and jumped at the opportunity to own it immediately. We love watching everyone walking down to the lake - an evening favorite for folks enjoying ice cream cones as they meander down to Lake Michigan for a chance to see a breath-taking sunset. We ride our bikes right out of the driveway and get on the Leelanau Trail within minutes - or, we take our beach gear and kayaks down to beach to enjoy Sleeping Bear Bay. The options are literally endless on the Leelanau Peninsula and, to date, we still have not done everything we'd love to do!
What makes this property unique
This house is a Blessing from God for all that get to enjoy it. Being right in the heart of downtown Glen Arbor right off of Lake Michigan and M22 make this a one of a kind place. The home itself is professionally-designed, meticulously-appointed, cozy to a fault, and spacious. From sitting out front on the front porch swing to sleeping on the bed swing on the screened-in side porch to swinging on the front tree swing near the firepit and cornhole, there is just too much to take in.
