It has a private deck overlooking a 60 ft dock and the lake. It is close to Boerne, Kerrville, San Antonio, Sea World, and Fiesta Texas. It is great for swimming, kayaking, fishing, boating, relaxing. Golf, hiking, biking, and touring is nearby.

Perfect for couples, families, and those just wanting to get away from the city. Free public boat ramp is one block away. Kayaks, paddle boat, fishing equipment, AC/Heat, Ceiling Fans, Grills.

This is an ideal getaway spot! Enjoy your private deck while looking out over the huge red dock and the lake. There is also a floating dock for easy access to the water and securing your boat. You can often spot deer and wild turkey on the shoreline across the lake. The free public access boat ramp is only a block away. The 5,369-acre Hill Country State Natural Area is about 15 minutes away for hiking and cycling. Take a drive through the scenic Texas Hill Country in any number of directions to explore the area.

The Dock Holiday Inn has 3 Bedrooms and 4 Single Roll Away Beds. 1st Bedroom has a King size bed, walk-in closet, and a bathroom with shower/tub combo. 2nd Bedroom has a twin bed with a twin trundle underneath. 3rd Bedroom has a Queen bed, bunk beds and an armoire. Fully equipped kitchen (stove with oven and range top, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, dish washer, coffee maker, all utensils, dishes and glassware, pots and pans, fryer). Two bathrooms with towels provided. 1st bathroom is shower/tub combo in Bedroom #1. 2nd Bathroom has a stand-alone shower. Washer/Dryer down below house. Other amenities include air conditioning and heating, ceiling fans, Flat screen ROKU TV, DVD player, WiFi, a whole-house cell signal amplifier provides a good cell signal, a blue-tooth portable speaker, a gas grill, a charcoal grill, a stone fire pit, and access to kayaks, paddle boat and fishing equipment.

It has a huge outdoor covered deck with ceiling fans and comfortable wicker furniture.

All bed linens and bath towels and soap supplies are provided.

Two houses occupy property. Owners may be on site. Lake/River Floats, Kayaks, Paddle Boat, Dock, Floating Dock, Front Yard, etc. are shared between 2 houses. No Pets allowed. No Smoking Allowed indoors. Swim at your own risk. We are not responsible for accidents. Children must be supervised at all times. Stairs on property.

Only adults should carry kayaks/paddle boat. Follow posted rules for kayak use. No fires in fireplace in the house.

Low lake water alert! Due to the drought the lake water is very low at our lake house.

Great back porch

The house was very clean and well stocked. We had one small issue and the owner called right away and we easily figured it out. Excellent communication. The back porch and covered deck was amazing. Lots of seating and very comfortable.

Relaxing getaway

We stayed in this property over Thanksgiving when the lakefront was basically dry. The deck is very nice and we sat out mornings and evenings and watched the stars. We also cooked out one night. Our beds were very comfortable and we found what we needed easily. We would definitely stay here again.

Lacy & Tina are a happily married couple who grew up in this south Texas. We enjoy family, friends, fishing, boating and relaxing at the lake. If you decide to stay at our lake house, it is our hope that you make lots of great memories there. It is a peaceful and beautiful place.

Why they chose this property

The Dock Holiday Inn is a special place. It is nice house in a beautiful and peaceful setting. It has a big covered deck with ceiling fans, skylights and comfortable wicker furniture that makes you not want to leave when you are out there! It has a beautiful view of the lake and nearby hills. The vaulted, beaded-wood ceiling in the family room with the wall of glass facing the lake has an open and inviting atmosphere.

What makes this property unique

This property has a huge dock overlooking the lake with steps going down to the water. The lake view is beautiful. The stone fire pit is nice for an evening out in the yard and great for making s'mores and roasting hot dogs! It can be a romantic getaway or a fun spot for a couple or family and friends to have some fun, make some some BBQ and hamburgers on the grill and then go fishing, swimming, kayaking or go boating. There are a couple of boat ramps nearby. The great shops, restaurants and frequent special events in Bandera, TX are only a 15 minute drive away. If you like kayaking, there are 7 adult kayaks and 2 youth kayaks that are free to use during your stay. There is also a paddle boat and a canoe.
