Super cozy cabin on one of the best lakes in Texas

1200 sf house has a master bedroom, two single beds,
full bathroom upstairs with tub/shower combo. Kitchen is fully equipped with newer appliances and tile counters.

Enjoy a relaxing day or evening on the water and then kick back in the ground floor patio. The gas grill is ready for your family’s BBQ master! Bring your toys! Perfect for a small family or group of friends.

NO LARGE GROUPS/PARTIES

Guests will have access to the entire property. There’s ample room for parking, the HUGE patio area under the house, and the 1,200sf home. Two bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs, one more full bathroom downstairs connected into the patio. Lastly, you’ll have full access to the grounds and waterfront.

Other things to note
Because the water level at Lake Medina changes, the access to the water is subject to change as well. As of June 2023, the lake is about 5-6% full or about 75-80’ low. Please view ALL photos of our listing to understand where the house is in relation to the current water level. You can drive an off-road rated vehicle from the house to the waterline but you are doing so AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Nice house and beautiful area
Overall our stay was good. We were there to visit family. The property has high-end finishes and is a really nice house. The bottom level is outside (nice car port) and the main house is the second floor. I wish the lake level was up like it looks in the main photos so the water was at the property making it an actual “lake front property”. If we had been there for the lake, I would have been upset bc I didn’t fully understand that there was no water near us until we arrived. However, with it being dried up, it did allow us to explore the lake bed and all around the area where it would normally be covered with water. We found some cool rocks and it became our main activity each morning and evening, hiking around the dried up lake bed. High points: - clean home with high-end finishes - flooring, doors, appliances, furniture - all of it so nice - beautiful home all around for a lake house - open concept kitchen, living room and dining has space for more than 6 - large counter space with plenty of space to sit at the bar and nice, clean appliances - sleep number bed in master bedroom (which was a surprise!) - quick hot water and plenty of it - blackout shades on every window - nice tvs in both the living room and master - all the light switches were labeled which was helpful - plenty of fans and lighting - air purifier/noise for sleeping (awesome!) in both bedrooms - stays cool even with over 100 degree days Low points: - no water in the lake area - you must drive to a completely different part of the lake for the lake/water portion (hopefully it goes back up soon) - bathroom configuration was interesting. 2 bathrooms but one is outside and downstairs separate. This is great so you don’t have to trek up the stairs to clean off after swimming or fishing but we assumed the 2 bathrooms were inside with the bedrooms - Also, the two bedrooms are connected by the bathtub space. Each has their own sink with doors so you can access them while someone is in the shower. But the toilet is in another separate section. This makes for a lot of doors and was interesting when trying to get ready or use the toilet. To wash your hands you go to the kitchen or around to one of the sinks through the maze of doors. I think the overall configuration needs some reworking…Just a lot of doors in a very small area and we got lost a couple of times. - they had games both inside and outdoors but no gear to use like a basketball or darts

Weekend Away
We had a great time. The lake was 46' low, but the owners mentioned it in the description. The livingroom/diningroom/kitchen was very spacious and the furniture is very comfortable. We used the Bunkbed room as our closet. The master bedroom would have been very tight for our luggage/stuff if we didn't have use of the second room. The weather was very cold so we didn't get to use the outside facilities or the firepit. Scenery was very nice, and the neighborhood was quiet. The first night was a little chilly because the thermostat adjusted after we set it. The owners responded and adjusted it on his app. The second night was better. Check out the area's restuarants ahead of time as some have closed permanently that was on the owner's list.

We are a lake-loving family!

Why they chose this property

This is our 2nd house at Medina Lake, our first was purchased in 2018 and was only a few doors away. We knew we loved this particular part of Medina so when we had the opportunity to purchase the house, it was a no-brainer!
