This is an older property in an old neighborhood, but the house is remodeled with modern conveniences. We were very impressed with the thought that the owner put into furnishings and amenities that made our stay very comfortable. There are Roku TVs in almost every room that you can control with the limited remote controls provided or with the Roku app on your phone. The location was perfect for us because it was just minutes from downtown. Everything was as described and no issues or surprises except one thing. The handrail on the front steps is rickety and unstable. We could not trust it with my elderly mother. It probably needs some reinforcement or replacement. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and appreciate the care and consideration of the owner. We will stay again if they fix the handrail.
