Recently updated, the home sits on two acres of land and is part of a neighborhood known as Colonial Village. The home seamlessly blends the comfort and style of modern amenities with the simplicity and craftsmanship of the original 1700s farmhouse. Over the years, the home has been expanded and, more recently, fully renovated. Warm, welcoming, and well-suited for today’s lifestyle, the 5-bedroom 4 bath home includes two primary bedrooms with baths (one on the first floor), a family room in what was the original 1700's kitchen with a large walk-in wood burning fireplace on the lower level. The main floor has an inviting fireside living room, a dining room, and eat-in kitchen with contemporary appliances. The second floor has the second primary bedroom with an en-suite, a large walk-in closet and office. Two additional bedrooms and a full bath. The third floor has the 5th bedroom, furnished with 2 full beds and an en-suite bath with the original claw foot tub! A covered front-porch and rear stone patio invite guests to relax and enjoy the natural beauty surrounding the home. Like many historic properties built before the advent the automobile, our home does sit close to the road. Our front porch looks across at 12 acres of woods and a stream!
Five minutes to the Devon Horse Show grounds, Devon Yards, Cabrini and Eastern Colleges, the King of Prussia Mall, the center of Wayne (and train station to Philadelphia.) Ten Minutes to Villanova and Valley Forge National Park. Four local golf courses, St. David’s, Aronimink, Waynesbourough and Merion are all within 15 minutes.
My background is in hotel, food and hospitality. We hope to provide you with everything you will need for your stay. Guests will have full access to the house and grounds. We live close by and will be available during your stay.

The home and all the amenities were tremendous. Very welcoming and could not have asked for a better place to stay. Kate was extremely accommodating and made our stay that much more enjoyable.
Kate’s home was absolutely perfect for our stay in Wayne. It was spotless, beautifully maintained, and made for an ideal place for a group of girls to stay. The house was festively decorated for Christmas, which made it feel especially warm and welcoming. Kate was a wonderful host and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again.
The Farmhouse exceeded our expectations, our family thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor spaces, super clean and plenty of products. Our family enjoys homecooked meals which was made easy with the well stocked kitchen and grill. Thank you, Katie and Rich for making our family feel so comfy in your beautiful Farmhouse.
We loved our stay, and would be happy to stay again in the future. Its very spacious, historic, and charming. Kate was very communicative and one of the best hosts we have ever had in a VRBO.
Everything was perfect. Kate is a super responsive host and provided all we needed, including dropping off a roll of foil within an hour of asking about it. We had 8 adults and two toddlers and the layout of the house worked out well for the group. We cooked each night - well equipped kitchen and had breakfast in. Kate was very thoughtful leaving coffee, half and half and a yummy pumpkin bread. And red wine. It was a super location for all we did in the area.
Great Location, close to everything, super clean, a wonderful place to come back to after our busy wedding festivities all weekend. Felt like home (homemade cookies and all)!!! Host was friendly, communicative, and accommodating. Would love to stay again!
This was our second time staying at this spacious and charming farmhouse. The house was clean and comfortable, and the upgraded king mattresses were a bonus. My sisters and I appreciated Kate's assistance with providing the name of a local personal chef and allowing her to come to the house to prepare a dinner for our mom's birthday. It was an enjoyable and relaxing experience! Another fantastic girls getaway!
We had an amazing stay at the farmhouse! Our family was in town to celebrate our son’s wedding. We needed a place big enough for our large family to stay. The farmhouse was just the place! Comfortable, spacious and very well appointed the farmhouse allowed us to spread out and have privacy when needed. Every detail of the property from the couches to the beds to the kids toys made our stay amazing. The host is responsive and communicative. Highly recommend staying at this property!
We had a wonderful family weekend at Kate’s place. The house was beautiful and comfortable. Everything was perfect. We look forward to future stays. If you are considering a stay, I highly recommend Kate’s place.
Kim and Rich were the ultimate hosts. The property was impecable and their hospitality was like no other.
We hosted family for a special celebration and no detail was missed.
10/10!!!
Perfect location for our getaway. My mom, sisters, and I knew we made the right choice from the moment we arrived. The house was clean, comfortable, and nicely stocked with any essentials we may have forgotten. We loved the yard and enjoyed seeing the deer every day. We would definitely stay again!
Two families visiting Villanova students thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home and Kate’s hospitality. It was the perfect size and location for our families to hang out when we wanted to and also have our space when needed.

Beautiful Wayne Location - Close to shops, restaurants and Villanova
What a great house. We were three couples visiting our children at Villanova. So cozy and comfortable, clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the local restaurants in town and were able to get back and forth to campus with ease. Would definitely stay there again and hope to soon!
