Let me start with the one redeeming quality of the space. The location was awsome. It is very close to restaurants and bars. The remainder of this review is sadly negative. The space was clean but put together entirely with value in mind. Several things were broken or breaking. None of the furniture was comfortable. There are at lease 30 very difficult to navigate steps up to the apartment. This was not mentioned in the listing when I booked and apparently is now mentioned as a direct result of my pointing it out to the manager. The entrance is down an alley that has dumpsters from some of the local restaurants. The ground is greasy and provoked us to remove our shoes as soon as we entered the apartment.

This apartment is over a restaurant and next to several clubs and restaurants. Entrance is down an alley lined with overflowing dumpsters and an insane number of rats running around. There were filthy puddles of liquid spilling out of the dumpsters that we had to walk through. Once inside there was food dropped on the floor in the hallways - wrappers and half a cucumber. The stairs were steep and narrow. We went in during the daylight and dropped our bags there. It looked mostly clean, but the place is barren, furniture is cheap and rickety. Curtains were one piece of fabric over the windows. We went out for a wedding reception and when we came back at night there was no parking in the pizza place advertised as free parking. They were full and charging 20. We found street paking. This time the alley was filled with valet cars from the club next door so we had to squeeze through them to get to the entrance. We went into the buidling and there was more trash and food wrappers in the hallway. We went up to the apartment and turned on the lights and then we could see the stain on the comforter, the filth on the kitchen mat in front of the sink, and the sad state of the whole place. We left and checked into a hotel. I am going to ask for a refund. We paid a lot for that place and it was really disappointing. Also I tried to cancel one night, within the time frame allowed, and owner didn't reply to three messages over a couple of days. Then finally said no.
