Quiet, relaxing stay

We wanted a quick getaway for our young family and chose this place because of its proximity to the Roger Williams Zoo and to area beaches. It's quiet and well equipped. The owner is friendly and accommodating.

Beautiful house and yard

The house was beautiful and the yard is a little piece of heaven. Everything was wonderful, comfortable beds, large shower, coffee & creamer, so many little touches to make you feel right at home. Monica was so nice and even told us the best restaurants to go to, and where to park in Newport. We will definitely be booking again next year when we are back in Rhode Island.

Well-appointed cottage in convenient location

We loved our stay at this quaint little cottage. It was half way between Providence and the southern coast - perfect for day trips! Mandeep and Monica have provided everything you might need with thoughtful features like motion-sensored lighting, charging cords, welcome snacks, and even loaned us a birding book! It was a perfect stay in a quiet and beautiful backyard. Highly recommend.

Charming Cottage

We chose this property as a home base for exploring Rhode Island, and it was really perfect. The location is very convenient to visit Providence, Newport, Boston, and our favorite, Block Island. We headed in a different direction each day, and traveled mostly on Highway One through charming villages and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The cottage had everything we needed, plus and was very clean and comfortable. The owners were very kind and welcoming, with great suggestions for places to see and great restaurants. We will definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

Charming Getaway

Weymouth Station is perfect for a weekend/long weekend getaway. The apartment is secluded from the main property (which is beautiful btw) and has everything you need. The apartment is clean and comfortable and can easily sleep up to 4-6 people (we only had two people for our reservation and there was more than enough space). The beds are very comfortable which is always a plus! It is super close to town and located on a quiet residential street. You will certainly enjoy your stay!

Beautiful home

We love ocean state and this was our 2nd visit to RI. This home is cozy and beautiful for family of 4. We loved the surroundings as well. Especially the grape wine in the backyard. It was a cherry on top for my kids. It is a quite neighborhood.

Lovely little cottage

We enjoyed our 5 day stay, it was myself and two adult daughters. The location was centralized to all items on our itinerary which made it very convienient. Short walk to East Greenwich. Comfortable beds, nice towels and bedding and everything you will need in the kitchen. We had no issues so no need to contact the owners but I am sure they would attend to any need ASAP.

Lovely home in East Greenwich!

The house was comfortable, clean, very well stocked, and a perfect fit for my friend and I as we worked from home and visited family and friends nearby. (The WiFi was excellent.) I grew up in the area and really loved being able to stay locally. Monica and Mandeep were great hosts - super responsive. Monica kindly dropped by with some delicious chai but otherwise we felt like we had lots of privacy. Thank you for hosting us!

A great place to be

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment a lot. Everything is very nice and considerate, many thoughtful details, adding up to an atmosphere that is as much practical as it is cosy. The contact to the host family was very friendly. They were extremely helpful whenever there was a question. All in all: An amazing spot to visit a great deal of New England, especially as a family with kids. Many thanks to Monica and Mandeep for great tips, nice conversations, and real Indian chai!

Family Visit

I rented this property for my two sisters and one's husband for a week while the they visited me from Denmark. I live on Post Rd, close to this property. The location was ideal for proximity to me, which is what I was looking for them. The unit was great... clean, roomy, and comfortable. No complaints at all.

Wonderful stay near Providence

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. We used it as a base while dropping off our daughter at RISD for the summer and while a distance from Providence, we found it convenient to the school and city while still giving us access to shops to pick up last minute items. There were plenty of nice shop and places to eat. The house itself is just as described , very clean and tidy and private. Our hosts thoughtfully provided everything from key kitchen essentials and wonderful towels and linens to small things like emergency bandages and q-tips. This is much more of a guest house than a rental and we are grateful to have found it!

Comfy, cozy, quiet

First, I will absolutely stay here again, so if you're a tl/dr kind of person, just know that you should rent it. Five stars. Highly recommend. The pictures do not do this adorable space justice. It's a bright, spacious, and comfy 2 bedroom apartment with all of the amenities of home. It's nestled by a gorgeous little wooded area. The owners are just lovely and take great pride in this property. The neighborhood is cozy, safe, and quiet. I highly recommend this rental to individuals and families alike.

In my rush to book a listing in the area, I mistakenly thought I was staying in "the big house" at the front of the property. However, I must admit I was far from disappointed, and rather amazed with how perfect the carriage house was for us! It was clean, well stocked, solidly built, beautifully landscaped, set in a very peaceful neighborhood with the nicest, most thoughtful and considerate hosts one could possibly imagine! Family Gathering & Celebration in Rhode Island

Well maintained property both inside and out. The host was very accommodating in ensuring that all of the small details were taken care of to ensure that we enjoyed our visit. The property is located in a safe and convenient area, which made us feel very comfortable. We had the opportunity to meet Mandeep and Monica, our hosts, and they were very kind and welcoming. They also gave us recommendations of local places for dining, which we tried and enjoyed very much. We highly recommend the property to others who are looking for a positive experience renting through VRBO. We will certainly remember this property for future visits to Rhode Island because some of our family members continue to live in the area. Thank you so much!

Great retreat, good location

My wife and I booked this just 3 days prior to arrival due to another reservation cancelling. It was a blessing in disguise, not only with the host, but the overall location as well. Being huge oyster fans, we visited Greenwich Oyster Bar, just 5 mins drive away, every day of our visit for their buck-a-shuck 4-6pm because they were so amazing. We visited Providence as well, which is an easy 25 min drive, and even down to Newport in 30-45 mins. The property has a modern update to it, and is very quiet on a cul-de-sac lot. We reached out to the host a couple of times, and each time was very responsive within minutes. We would recommend this property and its host if you're needing a good jumping off point to any of these near-by locations.
