Welcome to Your Cottage on Canal Road. You're situated right next to the Trent–Severn Waterway, with canal frontage and views of historic Locks 37 (Bolsover) and 38 (Talbot)—a quieter, scenic area aside from Lagoon City.
Due to seasonal changes, the water level may be lowered in late fall or winter because of drought conditions or canal management requirements. During this period, direct water access from the backyard dock may not be possible. Please don’t worry — if this happens, I will let guests know nearby year-round water access points within walking distance.
On Your Doorstep: Waterway & Locks Area. Trent–Severn Waterway Locks 37 & 38 Right beside the property—great for observing boats navigate the canal or for peaceful waterfront strolls.
Private Canal Access & Dock
We have private dock access, there's direct water access for paddling or relaxing by the water. You also can find out many public direct open water access west along Canal Rd (drive just a minute or two). It’s good for swimming, floating and fishing.

Enjoy peaceful rural canalside walking or cycling along Canal Road and connecting trails.
