The Space:

Sitting at the north end of town, this gorgeous Mendocino vacation rental features a beautiful ocean view, a stunning landscaped yard, and a well-equipped, full kitchen. Relax by the fire in the open living area and watch your favorite shows on the flatscreen TV equipped with DirecTV. Outside, the landscaped grounds include colorful rhododendrons and a variety of coastal flowers, including beautiful white and yellow Matilija poppies. From both the front and back decks, you can relax and take in the views of Agate Cove and the Headlands - there's even a hidden picnic table out between the rhododendrons in the yard for a special sunshine lunch or evening glass of wine.

From your door, walk along the this quiet neighborhood's streets to Mendocino Headlands State Park. From the cliffside bluffs, you'll have stunning panoramic views from where you can watch for passing whales, or take the steps down to the rocky beach to hunt for agates. This convenient location is also less than a mile from the center of town! Walk or bike to grab a bite to eat, browse the bookstores, and explore the numerous galleries. You’ll also be just four miles south of Jug Handle Beach and within 10 miles of Fort Bragg and colorful Glass Beach.

Beautiful and spacious house, amazing views, we loved gas log fireplace, steam shower and whirlpool bathtub. :-) Just note that you do have to drive to get everywhere if only for a few minutes.

We really enjoyed our stay! The weather was phenomenal so that made a big difference for our family. We​ had fun in the back yard playing games and enjoying the rugged ocean views while BBQing dinner. We would definitely try to come again!
