Spacious Victorian style cottage, designed for relaxation, with sweet front porch and large rear patio for outdoor living. Private, quiet location, yet steps away from dining, shopping and wine tasting in historic Amador City. Over 40 wineries are a short drive away.
No work crews due to our rental policies.
Halcyon House has been a five star vacation rental since 2016, and has a loyal group of repeat guests. Join us and see why!
The house features a main floor master with en-suite/powder bath, the second floor includes one king bedroom and one queen, with second bath. Both upstairs bedrooms have dormers with day beds, perfect for kiddos or a reading nook. Kitchen is fully furnished with plates, glasses, flatware, pots and pans, small appliances and coffee, tea, creamer and sweetener.

Charming front porch is one spot for outdoor relaxation. Large private back patio offers lounge area, dining table and grill. Propane tank and grill cleaner are included. Please let me know if you run out of either.

Halcyon House was one of the best places we've ever stayed through VRBO. Marilee has been responsive and helpful throughout the process.The location was perfect. It's an easy walk to the little city Amador, and a short drive to Sutter Creek. The house is clean, comfortable, and feels like a home without being fussy. We hope to be back in warmer weather so we can enjoy the back patio, but the front porch was lovely in afternoon sun.

We came to CA for my nephews wedding in Sutter Creek! This wonderful spacious yet cozy house was really great! Five adults had plenty of room. It is very clean and only about 3 minutes from Sutter Creek! We will stay here again if we come back to that area. Thank you for a lovely place to stay!!

Amador wine tasting

Property was very nice and had everything we needed for relaxing and cooking during our stay. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Many small added touches that made the stay as easy as being at home. Sorry the weather didn’t allow us to use the beautiful patio.
