Lakefront home on beautiful Lake Chatuge nestled in a cove offering stunning sunsets conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood close to Hiawassee, Young Harris, and Blairsville, GA as well as Hayesville and Murphy, NC, with many popular restaurant options within a mile. Also just a 2 hour drive from Atlanta, Asheville, and Chattanooga.

Lot lays very well with gradual slope and is an easy short walk down to the lake. Lake can also be accessed by walking around from the rear of the house to avoid stairs if needed.

We are located about a mile from the Ridges Marina if you would like to rent a boat during your stay. We are also located about a mile from a public boat ramp off of Red Banks Drive if you care to bring your own boat.

Home is well maintained to remain in good repair with pressure washing of home and dock, pest control, timely A/C air filters changes, and lawn care.

We have online booking for your convenience. Please ensure that you have read and can comply with our rental policies before making a booking request. The most important to consider is 8 guests maximum including children/infants, no pets, etc. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

Strip all used beds of sheets only and place sheets and any used towels in laundry area, wash any used dishes and place back in cabinets, collect and bag all trash and place in outside receptacles
Place kayaks and any other items used back on lower patio area
Set heat to 55 degrees or AC to 80 degrees whichever is applicable, turn off all lights, and lock all doors
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

This is such a lovely home! Over numerous years, we have rented multiple VRBOs on Lake Chatuge. This has been our very favorite and our group has stayed here at least 3 times.It is clean, well maintained, well-appointed with kitchenware and provides ample parking. They have pool table, and kayaks to enjoy as well as many other vacation games. We hope to be back next year!

Absolutely Gorgeous property!

Amazing place for an amazing family vacation

This home/location helped make this one of our best family vacations ever! The layout was perfect for our family. The complimentary amenities gave our adult children enough extra outdoor activities to keep them entertained outside when we weren’t hiking the beautiful trails. I highly recommend this home!

Second trip here, love it

Although the weather was rainy and cool, we still enjoyed our stay. We were able to get out on the lake in between rain showers. Having kayaks available is great! The amenities are excellent.

Best place to be on Lake Chatuge

Great Lake house with lots of room, great views, and toys for the family. Well stocked kitchen, good beds, lovely deck. We enjoyed the kayaks and the paddle boat. We also rented a boat for two days. We will return

The most amazing sunsets from the porch.

A clean, well kept property with a ton of room both inside and out. Kitchen has a great space and is well stocked. The property owners communicated well throughout. Highly recommend this property for families or friends looking to relax on the lake and watch the amazing sunsets from the porch.

Perfect Lake House

This property was everything we hoped it would be. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board on the lake every day. We cooked s'mores, enjoyed jumping off the dock, played lots of pool, slept soundly in the very comfortable beds, and enjoyed the smart TV in the living room at night. The house is situated in a quiet cove that made for a peaceful vacation. This place is a winner.

PARADISE on Lake Chatuge

The absolute perfect getaway destination for all ages. The bedrooms were spacious and bathrooms were immaculate. The kitchen is roomy enough for several people to work in at one time. Loved the separation of areas (3 stories) and the easy access to the lake. And just as described - unbelievably beautiful sunsets!!!! Michelle was super quick to respond to any questions and made the check-in/check-out process seamless. We hope to be back soon!

Perfect

This is our third time back. Accommodations are perfect for a few couples. Everyone has their own space. Only suggestion I would make is to change out the huge bar stools with the decorative backs that stick out so far that you can’t get by without hitting yourself on them.

Great Lake House

This property is perfect for a week on the lake. House is perfectly set up with a lot of outdoor living space, great back porch, dock and fire area to hang out. Bedrooms are very comfortable, especially the master. Great finished basement with area for kids or teens to hang out. Best part is the location on the lake. Great quiet cove and perfect place to bring your boat. I want to live here. Enjoy.

Perfect Lake/Mountain Getaway

I can't say enough good things about this house and the amenities. The location on the lake is beautiful. It's in a quiet cove with perfect sunset views. Parking is plentiful. The layout of the house is excellent for family gatherings and all of the rooms are spacious and well furnished. The kitchen has everything you need. Rainy day? No worries! Plenty to do in the house and on the deck and patio. Location is close to hiking, golf, mountain bike trails, and pickle ball courts. Would definitely recommend this house for families and multi couple vacations. We're already talking about coming back soon!

Very enjoyable

This is one of the best rentals we have stayed in. We would stay here again. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of utensils, dishes, pots, pans, dishwasher pods, dishwashing soap and kitchen towels. There is a regular drip coffee maker and one for pods. You will need more paper towels if one roll is not enough for your stay. There is a supply of towels for the lake. The washing machine offers a quick wash cycle so you can wash them easily to freshen them for the next day. They left several laundry pods and dryer sheets. Every sink had hand soap. There was enough toilet paper for our 5 night stay (4 adults, 1 child). .There is good closet space with hangers. I appreciate owners like these that know king size beds are important. There are 3 king size and one queen. We enjoyed the kayaks provided with the rental. We rented a pontoon boat from The Ridges. It was convenient to reach by land or water.

This home is exactly as pictured. The memory foam beds are so comfortable and the furnishings and decor make you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening while grilling our dinner. Wow!!! What an enjoyable experience. You will not go wrong renting this property.

Why they chose this property

I have always wanted to be on beautiful Lake Chatuge. This location is centrally located near downtown Hiawassee, Young Harris, Blairsville, Hayesville and Murphy and is only a 2 hour drive to Atlanta or Asheville.
