Lakefront home on beautiful Lake Chatuge nestled in a cove offering stunning sunsets conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood close to Hiawassee, Young Harris, and Blairsville, GA as well as Hayesville and Murphy, NC, with many popular restaurant options within a mile. Also just a 2 hour drive from Atlanta, Asheville, and Chattanooga.

Lot lays very well with gradual slope and is an easy short walk down to the lake. Lake can also be accessed by walking around from the rear of the house to avoid stairs if needed.

We are located about a mile from the Ridges Marina if you would like to rent a boat during your stay. We are also located about a mile from a public boat ramp off of Red Banks Drive if you care to bring your own boat.

Home is well maintained to remain in good repair with pressure washing of home and dock, pest control, timely A/C air filters changes, and lawn care.

We have online booking for your convenience. Please ensure that you have read and can comply with our rental policies before making a booking request. The most important to consider is 8 guests maximum including children/infants, no pets, etc. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

Set heat to 55 degrees or AC to 80 degrees whichever is applicable, turn off all lights, and lock all doors
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Thank you for your return visits and feedback. I understand that everyone is different and I have no problem replacing the mattress but I have gotten so many recent reviews of guests complimenting how great the mattresses sleep. It is hard to decide the best course of action with mixed reviews. The house is fairly new and being on a rental program the mattresses are not used year round. With more good reviews than bad I think it best to switch out the bed at the recommended life expectancy at this time.

This home is exactly as pictured. The memory foam beds are so comfortable and the furnishings and decor make you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening while grilling our dinner. Wow!!! What an enjoyable experience. You will not go wrong renting this property.

Beautiful well kept property. This is our 3rd visit. The major element missing is a good grill. That should be present for all similar properties.

We have been really blessed with great renters but unfortunately, I did have a mishap where the siding of the house was damaged from a grill being placed too close requiring repairs and so it was decided that a stationary charcoal grill next to the firepit area would be best to avoid any future damages.

Amazing stay on Lake Chatuge!

We loved everything about this property. The kitchen was large and well stocked with everything you needed. The beds were really comfortable and enough space for the whole family to spread out in. The air conditioning worked great (a must for the family), and it was a easy dock to get in and out of for a rental boat. We will be coming back again!

Fabulous Lake Front Home

The house was wonderful! Lovely deck to drink your coffee in the morning and to gather with family. Beautiful lake view, dock, kayaks, paddle boat, chairs, corn hole- plenty to do and enjoy! The house is very roomy too- great big kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms were great. Well done!

This is such a lovely home! Over numerous years, we have rented multiple VRBOs on Lake Chatuge. This has been our very favorite and our group has stayed here at least 3 times.It is clean, well maintained, well-appointed with kitchenware and provides ample parking. They have pool table, and kayaks to enjoy as well as many other vacation games. We hope to be back next year!

Amazing lakefront spot

We had an amazing stay at this rental. Plenty of room in the bedrooms, beds were comfortable and bathrooms were well equipped. Kitchen was great as well as living spaces. The backyard, deck and dock was our favorite spot. The kids loved kayaking early in the morning. We rented a boat and docked it overnight which was really convenient so we didn’t have to pack everything up and bring it to the boat rental place. Over all I would highly recommended this house, great for a small group!

Quick Christmas Getaway!

We have lived in Hiawassee for many years and love the area. It is a small quaint town with many attractions and has a lot to offer such as Brasstown Bald, Bell Mountain Scenic Overlook, Lake Chatuge, Anderson Music Hall, Georgia Mountain Fair, Hamilton Gardens, and Young Harris College

Why they chose this property

I have always wanted to be on beautiful Lake Chatuge. This location is centrally located near downtown Hiawassee, Young Harris, Blairsville, Hayesville and Murphy and is only a 2 hour drive to Atlanta or Asheville.

What makes this property unique

Besides the property being located directly on beautiful Lake Chatuge and in an area to view spectacular lake sunsets, the house is located within approx. 2 miles of a public boat ramp, the Ridges Marina, Splash Island, Fieldstone Cinemas 6, and six of the areas most popular restaurants.
