About this property
Sunset View A Frame: Privacy, Hot Tub, Pet Friendly, Mid-Mod Vibes
A-frame escape with the best view in South Park! Mid-century–inspired and totally private on 3 quiet acres. Soak in the hot tub while stargazing, spin some retro vinyl on the record player, and cozy up to the groovy fireplace. Enjoy stunning views of the Continental Divide—sunrise coffee and sunset cocktails highly encouraged. Perfect for honeymoons, family vacation, friend groups, even your dog—your stylish alpine hideaway awaits!
The space:
Escape to your own stylish slice of quiet Colorado in this freshly updated 1977 A-frame—an irresistibly groovy blend of retro charm and modern comfort just 1.5 hours from Denver (and blessedly not off I-70). Tucked at the end of a private court and reached by an aspen-lined driveway, this mid-century-inspired hideaway sits on three serene acres with sweeping South Park and Continental Divide views. It’s the kind of place where you instantly exhale, slow down, and let the stillness do its magic.
Inside, the design lovers will swoon: authentic mid-century pieces, handmade pottery, soft blankets, cozy furniture, and thoughtful touches everywhere. Spread out in 1,400 square feet of warmth, whether you're spinning vinyl by the vintage fireplace or losing track of time over board games.
Indoors you’ll enjoy:
A well-supplied kitchen with brand-new appliances
Spacious gathering area perfect for relaxing or reconnecting
Record player, games, Bluetooth speaker, TV
Vintage fireplace with all the cabin-glow vibes
A “work if you must” desk and fast Starlink internet
Dog bed for your furry travel buddy
Two dreamy bedrooms with views plus a bunk room with built-in twin-over-full bunks—all with brand-new Helix mattresses. Six guests sleep comfortably, and no one gets stuck in the living room.
Outdoors you’ll love:
A hot tub with epic mountain views
Fire pit under a billion stars
Gas grill for easy meals
Multiple seating areas to chase sun or shade
Three acres of pure, peaceful privacy
Adventure is all around: hike the Colorado Trail, or Lost Creek Wilderness; cast a line in Tarryall Creek or the Dream Stream; go off-roading, horseback riding, snowshoeing, skiing, rafting, ice fishing, or just take a scenic drive through the quiet wild.
We’ve stocked the cabin with all the thoughtful extras—backpacks, water bottles, dog dishes, poop bags, grocery bags, toiletries, firewood, flashlights, hot tub towels, throw blankets, and more—so you can settle right in.
We think it’s the perfect place to unplug, unwind, and savor the best of the Rockies, wrapped in privacy, peace, and one-of-a-kind style.
Please note that you'll want 4WD/AWD to get here safely in winter. While many days are sunny and dry, sudden storms are common in the Rocky Mountains so drive prepared.
Guest access:
You have the entire space to yourself. There is one locked owner's closet on the second floor.
Other things to note:
Stairs are required to access the house.
The A frame creates a few tight spaces. Taller people may have to duck a bit going up the stairs. The upstairs half bath is quite small.
There's very little cell service but you can make calls using Starlink internet Wifi on site.
