About this property

Wy’East Waters · Riverfront Hot Tub Retreat · Near Mt. Hood · Dog Friendly

Escape to Wy’East Waters, a spacious modern mountain cabin tucked among towering evergreens with Sandy River views. Vaulted ceilings, warm wood interiors, and skylights bathe the space in natural light. Perfect for ski weekends, summer river days, or cozy retreats with friends (and dogs). After Mt. Hood adventures, gather by the stone fireplace or sink into the forest-view hot tub and soak beneath a canopy of stars. Two living rooms and three bathrooms offer privacy and space to spread out and unwind.

Despite its wooded, private feel, Wy’East Waters is centrally located to everything the mountain has to offer:

- 5-minute walk to the Sandy River beach
- Short drive to grocery stores, cafés, and restaurants in Zig Zag and Welches
- 25–35 minutes to Ski Bowl, Timberline, and Mt. Hood Meadows ski resorts
- Minutes from dozens of hiking trails, including Wildwood Recreation Site, Salmon River Trail, and Mt. Hood National Forest access points
- Access to Timberline Rim neighborhood amenities: seasonal pool, playground, tennis and basketball courts

It's the ideal home base for skiing, snowboarding, hiking, fishing, mountain biking, swimming in the river, golfing, or simply enjoying the quiet beauty of Mt. Hood’s forest canopy.

Upstairs, the main living room is the heart of the home, offering plush seating, a stunning stone fireplace, and expansive windows with calming forest views. It’s the perfect place to curl up with a blanket, share stories, and listen to the river flow by or rain tap against skylights. It's connected to the dining area and kitchen with an open floor plan. Sliding glass doors lead to the back porch with a BBQ and outdoor seating overlooking the river.

The spacious master bedroom includes a private seating area, TV, and an ensuite bathroom with dual vanities and elegant granite countertops. The second bedroom features a queen bed with a twin bunk above, and a chair and beanbag for storytime. Conveniently located across from the second bathroom, which includes a bathtub and a skylight that fills the room with soft daylight.

The light-drenched kitchen offers granite countertops and everything you need for real cooking. Whether you prefer Keurig coffee or a regular drip coffee maker, both are provided—along with fresh cream and a selection of teas for your morning ritual. The kitchen is fully stocked with:

- Quality cookware and bakeware
- Plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, and serving ware
- Sharp knives and cooking utensils
- Cooking oils, vinegar, and a spice selection

Downstairs, a third bedroom and third bathroom are paired with a cozy, den-style second living room—perfect for movies, games, or relaxed evenings in. This versatile space includes:

- A new Roku TV with Netflix, HBO Max, Hulu, and Peacock
- A large, comfortable couch that pulls out into a full-sized bed
- A plush beanbag chair for lounging
- A dedicated desk workspace, complete with leather chair, monitor, keyboard, and mouse
- Fast WiFi for remote work or streaming
- Board games and puzzles
- A curated library of books, both modern and vintage
- A laundry room with Samsung washer and dryer

Bathrooms are stocked with premium soaps, shampoos, conditioners, and lotions so you can settle in with ease. The home features efficient heating and cooling, ensuring comfort year-round, whether you're visiting during snowy winter weekends or warm summer trail-days.

Wy’East Waters welcomes dogs and includes thoughtful amenities for four-legged guests:elevated food bowls, a bed, and waste bags. We use the $50 pet fee to ensure extra deep cleaning after each dog stay.

For families, we also provide a crib, kids' books and games, making travel with little ones more convenient.

Wy’East Waters is designed to be as peaceful outside as it is inside. Enjoy:

- A short, gentle path to a metal bench where you can sit and listen to the river flowing below
- An outdoor fire pit perfect for s’mores and stargazing
- Access to the garage for parking and a rack for skis and snowboards. Space heater for drying gear provided.

Wy’East Waters was created to be a place of comfort, connection, and calm—a retreat where you can slow down, breathe deeply, and enjoy forest views from every window. Whether you're gathering with loved ones, exploring mountain trails, or savoring peaceful mornings with the sound of the river drifting through the trees, this cabin offers a restorative experience in every season.

Perfect place to stay for a weekend getaway and hiking trip! Great location - close to hiking trails, adventures, shopping, and resturants. The owners show there thoughtfulness for vacationers- property was clean and well stocked. The house is a comfortable setup with plenty of room. Truly a great experience for our family and fury friends. We would love to stay here again in the future.

What a fantastic place! Very comfortably furnished, clean and well-stocked kitchen and the hot tub surrounded by trees was so relaxing. It’s especially nice to have two places to hang out (upstairs living room and downstairs tv room). Lindsey was quick to respond to messages too. This is definitely a place we’ll come back to!

We had a lovely weekend at the cabin! It was very well stocked kitchen with a electric tea kettle, board games for the kids, flip flops to wear to the hot tub. The hosts were accommodating and responsive to questions. It would be good for future guests to download or write down the instructions for getting into the home, as given the location our cell service was limited and we could not pull up the vrbo app on our phone. Lesson learned... we drove back into town, but next time will write down the door code and the host phone number.

Our stay here was wonderful! Absolutely outstanding. There were several thoughtful touches that it made it feel as though we were staying at a home with people who were friends who genuinely cared about our well-being. The pots and pans were well cared-for and the kitchen was very well-stocked. Details were clearly considered, down to the details of having towels and flip flops available near the door to the hot tub. The couches were incredibly comfortable, and we loved that each room had its own bathroom. All beds were very comfortable, and the instructions for the home were very clear and well-written. Great communication with the owners as-needed, and very helpful for small details. Wi-fi was great, as we had a few people who needed to complete class assignments and wrap up work details during the trip. We took small walks through the neighborhood, which felt safe and was full of homes that were well-cared for. You can see and hear the river from the dining room, which was one of our favorite features. Quite possibly my new favorite place to stay in the area!

Stayed for a winter weekend with friends and had a great time. Plenty of room for a crew - we loved hanging by the fireplace. Kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfy, nice big table for group meals. Keeping this one on my shortlist for future cabin weekends!
