We decided just to enjoy the day at the property instead of sightseeing the area. It was incredibly relaxing and I would suggest people at a day to do that. The trains do go by but then you also have some surprises.

Highly recommend this property. Very nice setting with view to pond. Clean. Spacious for the 2 of us. If needed the hosts were available and both very nice and accommodating. The train does run very nearby and I - being a 'noise nut' - was somewhat concerned about this when we did our reservations. A couple times each night were were awakened by the train but both of us were quickly lulled back to sleep by it. Otherwise very quiet.

We were absolutely delighted with our stay. The cottage was clean and stocked with all the kitchen and bath stuff we could possibly need. The cottage decor is very homey and comfortable as can be. The grounds are gorgeous. The lake and dock are the highlight of the property and they also have turkeys, ducks, chickens and rabbits. We're nature lovers and felt right at home. We did not hardly see the Raulersons and we had our privacy to the degree that we never even met them, although I would have liked to. If we are in the area again we plan to return. Thank you, Raulersons, for everything.
