Lovely In town apartment in the beautiful Druid Hills community of Northeast Atlanta, home to Emory Hospital/University, CDC and Driving Miss Daisy. Druid Hills is called the "city in the forest" because of its lush trees and greenery, but yet so close to town. Very private duplex but feels like a single family home with private front and back doors and parking pad with 2 parking spaces steps from door and ample street parking for your guests. No one above you! Hardwoods and tile throughout, inviting separate dining room with seating for six. Three spacious bedrooms will provide privacy as well as room to get away - the 3rd bedroom is a bedroom/Den with Full size daybed (with trundle) and sofa bed with flip top table to house your laptop or tablet, and big screen TV. Plus TVs in all bedrooms, equipped with Firestick and ready for streaming. Perfect for a group, couples, friends/colleagues, families or recovering Emory patients as it sleeps 6 comfortably! Located 3 miles from Midtown Atlanta with its numerous restaurants and bars, or just 1 mile east to Downtown Decatur where you will find an assortment of diverse restaurants as well.

Gather around as a group/family and enjoy the 65" TV in Family Room, or if it's privacy you seek, retreat to 3rd bedroom/Den where there is a 50" TV to watch your favorite shows. TVs in all bedrooms. Fully equipped kitchen and ample towels and linen. With the mostly good weather we enjoy in Atlanta, there is a screened in patio with furniture and grill for your outdoor enjoyment.
Master bedroom has King bed - 2nd bedroom has Queen bed - 3rd bedroom/den has Full daybed w/trundle plus a twin sofabed and 2 Full sofabeds in Family room.
NO SMOKING/NO PETS.

great place to stay

This home was very nice. The front porch light went out during my stay and the owner replaced the light immediately. My only simple recommendation is to put black out curtains in the living room as my kids who stayed on the sofa bed was a lil uncomfortable with the sheers. However we had an excellent stay and would stay here again and definatley would recommend others to this property.

My family and I traveled over 7 hours only to make it to the home and the air was not working. The owner notified us 10 minutes before we arrived that the air was not functioning properly. The home was okay. Not much parking space. There were stale/ expired complimentary chips in the kitchen left for us which were not edible. The temperature reached 90 degrees in the home. The owner left 3 fans for us, one fan did not work at all. We contacted her several times telling her how hot and humid it was in the home. She said a tech would come out. Of course that never happened. The company tried contacting the owner several times, she didn’t answer. Due to the hot temperature we had to leave and get hotel rooms. After we left we notified the home owner and she finally wrote back saying someone would be out later that day to fix the air. I would not recommend this property at all.

Very nice and great location

Me and my friends rented this house for the weekend because of Music Midtown and it was perfect! There was 8 of us and it slept 8 perfectly. The house was clean. The owner is very nice and communicates with you really well. I would rent again if I had to.

Because of it's uniqueness. I wanted a property that offered outdoor living space as well as close proximity to Downtown.

What makes this property unique

Close to Emory Hospital/University (1 mi) also 1 mi from downtown Decatur which gives me easy access to the eastside of Atlanta and only 3 miles west to Midtown Atlanta.
