Welcome home to your family’s retreat! This Home is located in a quiet neighborhood of many active duty military families. This home is less than 3 miles from Lackland Air Force Base. Close to Sea World, Fiesta Texas (Six Flags) and downtown San Antonio (The River Walk). Walmart Superstore just near the entry of neighborhood. The amenities consist of community swimming pool, playground, basketball court and 3 miles walking path.

The home was beautiful and spotless. All the little extras were so appreciated....hand soaps, message signs, coffee bar, cooking supplies, abundance of towels. And the stadium seat pads for use at our son's BMT graduation were a lifesaver in the cold weather! The hosts were quick to respond and very accommodating. Thank you for a wonderful stay! This will be the home of choice for our next visit.

Great stay

This home was perfect for our stay for our Airman's graduation. It's very close to base and shopping, and was thoughtfully prepared for guests. The hosts were very nice and responded quickly to any questions we had leading up to our arrival.

Perfect home for families w BMT Grads.

Very clean and beautiful home with great space for family. The home is very clean and comfortable beds. The owners are easy to work with and very welcoming. This is one of the best VRBO’s I’ve ever stayed at and the only way to go to San Antonio.

Wonderful Host and Place

The house was wonderful. It had all the space and amenities to support a large family (like ours). The location was ideal and there was easy access to several desired destinations. For BMT graduation this is the place to be !

The property was very close to a Walmart and Lackland which was very helpful ! It was very roomy and open so great for big families ! The owners go the extra mile in making your stay special and it was appreciated! They gave great instructions and useful information about the property . I definitely don’t regret booking this , our Airman was happy to have a place he could relax , eat a home cooked meal , and spend time with his family !

Family Vacation Experience

We loved the house. Plenty of space for the 12 of us and well kept. The hosts were very responsive the whole weekend! We loved the experience! Added bonus was the games geared to all ages, the ping pong table, and the pool table. Our down time was spent playing! Would definitely recommend to others!

ABSOLUTELY PREFECT FOR BMT GRADUATION!!!

Ted was so awesome and responsive throughout! We will definitely book again! Our airman loved hanging out at a house, it was so cozy versus staying at a hotel. Highly recommend this home and host! We were only a few minutes from the base and all the attractions. The beds were comfy, the pool table and ping pong were a big hit. The neighborhood was clean and very decent! We used the bleacher pads which came in very handy because the bleachers were cold and hard. We brought the umbrellas from the house just in case. Ted let us hang out a little longer because our flights were in the evening, most hosts are pretty strict on that. 5 out of 5 refer to all family and friends!!!!! Thanks Ted, we appreciate you!!

Horrible experience

My guests are from overseas and reservation date was changed without prior notice. Ted offered no help and told me to complain to VRBO. Michelle was able to correct the mistake but I already made arrangements for another night elsewhere. I was out over 200 and no assistance for their oversight. Soo quick to respond to demand for payment but I had to wait hours to get an answer. The worst experience ever with VRBO.

WOW! I'm just seeing this "Horrible experience" review. This guest was mostly non-communicative up until the last minute and at that point, we weren't able to make adjustments based on syncing calendars with another short term provider. I'm so shocked. Please read the 99% other reviews!

Nice house

My family and I really enjoyed this house. First time visiting San Antonio for my son USAF BMT graduation and everything was wonderful. Most important the location was the best. Even with traffic the gate was less than 10 minutes. The host communication was very good.

The house is extremely well care of. The hosts provided every little thing's like Coffee and welcome notes, with clear written instructions. Michelle specifically called us the day before to make sure we have all our questions answered. Great place. Will love to come back to stay at the same place.

Fantastic value for a spectacular home

Property owners, Alan and Michelle, have thought of nearly everything needed for guests staying at their home. We were visiting our airman and needed to be situated closer to the base. This home is conveniently located near the base, grocery stores and restaurants with quick access to the highway for any other location you need to get to while visiting. We have rented homes through VRBO/Home Away for many years as a family and have NEVER had such a wonderful experience as we did in this home. The home is clean, well laid out, with room for everyone to have their own space. The community pool was also clean and a great way to beat the Texas heat. But it was all of the little details that stood out to us including the personal phone call from Michelle in advance of our stay to get us acquainted with the home and area, the acrylic note holders in various locations with information on how best to use their home - including the choice in wash clothes available for make-up removal so as not to stain their lovely white bath towels - which helped us as well as our children remember to respect their home. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed for families like our own who like to cook at home during our stays. We would have benefited from a few extra throw blankets for some of our guests who prefer more layers on the bed - but that is absolutely the only "complaint" we had. Thank you, Alan and Michelle, for welcoming military families into your home. We would gladly return if the opportunity presents itself.

BMT Graduation October 2019

Highly recommend this property for BMT graduation! It had everything we needed. It was spacious and comfortable, which was great for just spending time with our Airman. The proximity to the base is amazing which gave us more time with our Airman, plus we didn't have to leave quite so early to get there on time. Alan and Michelle are wonderful host and your lodging is one thing you won't have to worry about that weekend if you stay here!
