Our lake house is a great place for fishing trips and family fun. We have a dock on the property for you to tie up your boat. Lake Tawakini has great fishing. The house is just two miles from the Lake Tawakini State Park that has boat ramps and places to park your trailer and vehicle.

A lot of things didn’t work, spider webs in house, stains on carpet, bedding, oven/stove top didn’t work property, handle on tub came off, no smoke alarms in bedrooms, 3 laying in cabinet above stove, wasp next on patio, patio furniture stained, chair living room no padding, flooring sticking up, icemaker did not work, bugs not cleaned off window seals on walls, very small worn out charcoal grill needs gas grill for big occupancy house, picnic table on pier broke, boards broke on pier, trash was full when got there and not picked up when we left. So many things. It’s a beautiful property that was not clean or maintained.

We take every guest’s experience seriously, which is why it’s disappointing to read a review that doesn’t reflect the over all condition of this home or the experience the vast majority of our guests have had — this property consistently earns 5-star reviews, and we stand behind that track record. We do inspect and maintain our outdoor furniture, grill (we only provide a charcoal grill), and pier regularly, and any normal wear from outdoor use and weather is not indicative of neglect. We welcome specific, timestamped feedback during a stay so we can fix real problems in real time. After a guests leaves, we will then handle any reported items of concern. So, we are grateful when guest notify us of any issues before they leave.
