POOL & SPA DISCLAIMER
The pool and hot tub are surrounded by trees, so some pollen or leaves may fall into the water, especially in spring. We have a pool service 3–5 times a week to keep it clean, particularly before your arrival, but occasional debris during your stay is normal. A leaf blower is also available if you’d like to use it. If you’d like extra cleaning while you’re here, just let us know—we’re happy to schedule our pool service to ensure a sparkling pool for your enjoyment.

We're thrilled to host you at our Pool and Spa Paradise. Please take a few minutes to review the important information below to help ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Cleaning Expectations and Fee Transparency
In accordance with California short-term rental law (AB 2202), we’re committed to transparency about cleaning responsibilities and potential fees.

Our standard cleaning fee covers:
1. General tidying and sanitation
2. Laundry of used towels and bedding
3. Basic reset of the property

To avoid additional cleaning charges, we kindly ask that guests:
1. Take out all trash to the designated bins
2. Load and run the dishwasher (or hand wash dishes)
3. Leave used towels in the bathroom or laundry basket
4. Report any spills, damages, or maintenance issues immediately
5. Use the pool and hot tub responsibly
-No soaps, oils, or bath products
-Rinse off before entering
-No glass containers
-Children must be supervised at all times

Extra Cleaning Fees May Apply If:
Excessive trash or mess: $250–$600
Excessive/unwashed dishes/cookware: $40–$75 per kitchen
Extremely dirty or stained linens: $60–$150 per bedroom
Bleaching for linens/mattresses: $100–$200
Carpet/furniture stains: $150–$300
Biohazard cleanup (e.g., vomit): $250–$500
Unapproved pet/service animal messes or excessive hair
Lingering smoke or odor: $800–$1600
BBQ/pool deck left dirty: $100–$200
Hot tub contamination (food, oils, broken glass): $200–$400
Swimming pool contamination: $250–$600
Shock pool to rebalance: $100
Drain and rebalance pool/spa: $1,000
Glass removal from pool/spa: $500
Concrete oil spills or exterior pressure washing: $150–$300
Fees are only charged when necessary and fully documented with photos/invoices.

Outdoor Umbrella Safety
Please use caution with the umbrella near the pool.
Always close the umbrella when not in use or during windy conditions.

Guest Policy and Maximum Occupancy
Max occupancy: 8 overnight guests
No unregistered guests allowed overnight
Day visitors are welcome with host approval only

Parties and Events Policy
No parties
Quiet hours: 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM
Unauthorized parties result in a $1,500 venue fee and immediate cancellation with no refund
Decorations must be approved in advance. Guests cover any damage.

Speeding and Parking
Parking available for 8 vehicles max

Trash Day and Overflow Policy
Trash pickup is Sunday
Place trash in bins by Saturday
A team member will pull bins to the curb
Overflowing trash after a short stay (1–2 nights) results in a $175 removal fee
Limit is 1 trash bin and 1 recycling bin per short-term stay

Pet Policy
No pets allowed, the homeowner has severe allergies! If you have a service animal contact us first before booking!
Violations result in a $750 fine for pets.

Respect the Neighborhood
No loud music or boomboxes
Do not allow noise to carry beyond the property
Keep windows closed at night to prevent sound from traveling

Fire Policy
Fire Pit and BBQ must be used responsibly
Never leave fire unattended and keep water nearby
Only use during safe weather conditions
Fully extinguish fire and clean grill after use

Smoking Policy
Strict no smoking anywhere on the property
$550 fine for any violation

Hot Tub Use and Regulations
No use of the hot tub between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM

Pool Service
Sunday between 8 AM and 9 AM

Thermostat Settings
Thermostat range is 70–78°F
Windows/doors may be opened for fresh air but must be closed when A/C or heat is running

Laundry Room
Washer and dryer in unit
Available for guest use during your stay

No Mail Delivery
No personal mail or packages should be sent here

Dishwasher Tips
Scrape food before placing items in the dishwasher
Use the garbage disposal while rinsing
Notify the host if any glass breaks inside
Improper use may cause clogs and result in repair charges

Check-In / Check-Out Policies
Early check-in and late check-out may be available
No late check-outs past 12:30 PM
For guaranteed late checkout, book an extra night
Cleaners arrive promptly at 11 AM on checkout day
Full checkout instructions will be sent the day before departure

Forgot Something?
You have 48 hours to contact us to retrieve items
All shipping is at the traveler’s expense (minimum $25)
We are not liable for lost items
After 48 hours, items will be donated
