Mountain weather can occasionally impact power in this area. The home is equipped with a whole-house, hardwired backup generator that automatically turns on to maintain essential systems and comfort.
Bear & Wildlife Awareness
Big Trees Village & the Arnold area is active bear territory. For safety and to protect wildlife, all food, trash, coolers, and scented items must be stored inside the cabin or in the provided Bear Box. Bears can access vehicles, so nothing should be left in cars or on decks.
Mountain Setting
The home is surrounded by Stanislaus National Forest. While we maintain regular pest control and cleaning, guests should expect a true mountain environment, including insects, birds, and other wildlife. Bees are common during warmer months, please be aware.
