Michael, thanks for the kind words. We work hard to make everyone feel at home when they stay and that means having the little things you need so you don't have to remember or pack it all. Happy to have you back anytime.
We had a great time! Bryan was very communicative and flexible and helped us work through a few booking snafu's on our end. It was a wonderful weekend.
It’s beautiful. I really recommend for two families. We loved the design and all of the nice details, decoration.

Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re thrilled you loved the design and details, and that the space worked well for two families. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we’d be delighted to welcome you back anytime.
Place was emulate. Especially for allowing dogs. We had a wonderful stay. The place is decorated very well. Which made for very comfortable and relaxing time. Their porch was where we spent most of our time. Their couches and Shane structures were perfect for the daytime. Which also turned into an amazing evening and night with the fire pit. Also, their hot tub was perfectly set at 102 when we got there. easy communication with the owners before and during the day. Overall, we had a magnificent time. We hope to come back soon.

Thank you Natalie. Glad you all had a wonderful time. We look forward to hosting you anytime.
The Cozy Chic Chalet was the perfect place for our family snow trip! As a family of ten, it can be a challenge to find a place we all fit, but the Chalet fit us all comfortably! A bonus was that our dogs were welcome and the house was very kid friendly. We spent our days playing in the snow, just a 15 minute drive up the road. The Chalet has a great assortment of snow gear of all sizes, which was so nice, as some of our family had never been to the snow before. Our evenings were spent staying cozy by the fire place and cooking in the kitchen, which had everything we needed. Our hosts went above and beyond to accommodate us and it was the best experience!

Thank you so much for this wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that the Cozy Chic Chalet was a great fit for your whole family and that everyone, dogs included, felt right at home.
It’s especially nice to know you were able to enjoy both the snowy adventures nearby and cozy evenings by the fireplace. We’re glad the snow gear was useful especially for those experiencing the snow for the first time.
You were a fantastic group to host, and we truly appreciate your kind words. We’d love to welcome you all back for another family getaway anytime!
The Chic Chalet felt very comfortable and homey.Plenty of trees, shade and mountain air. It has a very comfortable hammock, gas bbq and plenty of outdoor seating. The hot tub had really cool color changing lights and was a very relaxing way to complete the day.The interior was very clean, has a cute kitchen, decorated well and PLENTY of beds. It has 2 sets of french doors leading out to the deck, allowing for a nice autumn breeze. The area was very quiet. We were able to take our dogs on a walk in the mountain neighborhood. We did however see a black bear on our last night when taking the dogs on a walk just before sun set. We advise on avoiding walking in the pine needles especially with dogs due to a lot of sap on the ground. We ventured out during the day and walked all the shops in Murphys. It was a very cute little old town. We discovered a small park in Murphys that had a small shallow river running right thru it. We were able to wade into it and our dogs really enjoyed splashing around in it also. We would definitely stay there again.

We appreciate the thoughtful review. Glad you enjoyed your stay.
There is plenty to do and see in the area....including bears! The sap is especially pesky in the fall/spring months but worth it for all the beauty and shade the trees provide. We also love visiting Murphy's as it is so close and always has something going on for both young and old alike. They often have live music for free in the park. :-)
We really enjoyed our stay at this chalet. We wish we could have stayed longer! We had 2 families sharing the home (it ended up being 5 adults and 2 kids) and there was plenty of room for us between the inside space and outside deck. The loft had a bathroom, which was very convenient, and a portable AC (the only "AC"). There were really nice tower fans in each bedroom and one near the sliding glass door in the dining room. The ceiling fan in the family room was great for moving air around as well. There were a lot of games, toys, and books in the loft space which kept the kids entertained when we weren't exploring. The house was equipped with a lot of extras that we don't usually find in rentals (sandwich bags, foil, spices, hair gel) and we appreciated it! We enjoyed the hot tub, fire table, outside seating, swing, and hammock. It was very peaceful! We went to Murphys Community Park and enjoyed getting into the creek that runs through the park (bring swimsuits and inner tubes to float down). We enjoyed White Pines Lake where we paddle-boarded and enjoyed the beautiful views. We went to Calaveras Big Trees State Park (10 per vehicle) and enjoyed some hiking. We were thankful for the passes to Big Tree Village Rec Center where we went swimming. The hours can be tricky and they closed at 5:30 pm the day we were there. You can check the website for information. We hope we can get back to the area to explore some more!

It sounds like you made the most of everything the area has to offer! Murphy's Community Park, White Pines Lake, and Calaveras Big Trees State Park are some of our favorite places as well, and we appreciate you sharing your tips for future guests.
Thank you again for choosing our chalet for your family getaway. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we'd love to welcome you back anytime so you can continue exploring the beautiful area. Hopefully next time you'll be able to stay a little longer!
The property was in excellent condition and super fun! Our kids enjoyed the hot tub, tree swing, and games. In addition to the Gold Rush history, we enjoyed the Moaning Caverns of Calaveras County, Big Trees State Park, and spending time a Murphy's Community Park. The property was very clean and true to the photos and descriptions on VRBO. If you're looking for a quiet, clean, and updated Sierra cabin to spend some quality family time, this is your place!
