Sandy Dollar Cottage - A Water Lover's Paradise

Just steps from two public beach accesses, this pet-friendly, cozy canal front retreat lets you enjoy the best of both the ocean and the sound. Spend your days relaxing on the beach, exploring the peaceful South End, or fishing and crabbing right from your private dock. Bring your boat, jet skis, or paddleboards — or use the included kayaks, Stand Up Paddleboard, bikes, beach chairs, and umbrella for endless waterfront fun. With a true beach cottage feel, you will find 3 bedrooms fitted with 2 queen beds and a king. There is a pullout loveseat that hosts the fourth bed (twin) The entire house is to be enjoyed. Guests can message me directly for any inquiries. This home is truly unique in that you have access to a private dock to host your personal watercraft’s (boats, jet skis etc) - local Bush Marina is 1 mile down the road and you can scoot back to your own dock to use at your leisure. Meanwhile, the beach is steps away. Truly the best of both worlds.

We had a great time at Sandy Dollar Cottage. The 'Water Lover’s Paradise' description is spot on, but the real highlight for us was how much they actually thought about pet owners. Most places say they're 'pet-friendly,' but this place actually is, there are gates on the decks so our dogs could hang out outside safely, and even a little puppy corral for them to go to the bathroom.Everything was clean when we arrived, and we didn't have any issues the whole trip. It made everything so much more relaxing not having to worry about the dogs every second. We’d definitely come back!

We enjoy the quieter pace, proximity to the beach and being canal front, and of course walking distance to Serenity Point.

What makes this property unique

The location is so incredibly unique where you can walk to the beach in 30 steps or take 10 steps to your personal dock for fishing, boating or anything else fun on the water. Truly best of both worlds.
