Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Positives: The villa itself is new and nice inside, but the kitchen isn’t adequately stocked to prepare meals (a small skillet and pot were all the cooking materials provided). No bakeware was provided, but I suppose that’s because there’s no oven. Not even a toaster oven. Super inconvenient since there are no restaurants close. No grocery stores either. In fact, nothing is close (walking distance) and having a rental car is a must. The nearest grocery store is a 10-15 minute drive from the condo. The beach was covered in seaweed our entire visit, and we couldn’t use it a single day we were there. No one cleans the beach like they do at the resorts, so we had to drive to Playa del Carmen to the nearest clean beach with public access. The caretakers, Jose and Lady, were extremely nice and helpful. However, the negatives about the place make the stay not worth the price.
