We had a wonderful 7-day stay for Airventure. It's location was excellent with just a short highway trip to the event each day. Our hosts had the house set up for us with more than just the essentials which made our experience outstanding.The house is a log cabin with the feel of a hunting lodge. It is best suited for two couples or a family of four. The bedrooms are well appointed, spacious, and comfortable. The bathroom attached to the master features a jet-air tub and plenty of counter space. The second bathroom in the hall has a stand alone sink and a one person shower. The TV room is set up with two comfortable recliners, with a little extra space to bring in more chairs as needed. There are also books and games available if you're so inclined.The main room has a fireplace and is a great place to read and relax. Attached to the main room is a sunroom with big windows that face out to the spacious backyard and is a great place to sip coffee and start your day.The kitchen features a spacious island that acts as a morning gathering spot. Water, Keureg coffee and breakfast snacks were provided to start our visit. Included in the property is a new washer and dryer.This property is out in the country surrounded by farmland. Your closest neighbor is beyond view. It's about as quiet and private as you can get. There's plenty of restaurants and shopping both north and south, but we enjoyed the Bee Hive Barn & Grill just down the road most often.
