Villa w/pool - 5 min walk to West Bay beach
Enjoy this luxurious Villa with its own private infinity pool, less that a 5 minute walk to a fantastic West Bay Beach access (beside Henry Morgan resort). This is a very large 1 Br Villa with king bed, large kitchen with quartz countertops and large seating area. Screened porch and large pool deck. Features the fastest high speed internet available on the island, LED televisions, beautiful modern bathroom and AC throughout the house.
The oversized living room also features a queen size foldup (murphy bed) and a fold down couch. Esily sleeps 4-6 people.
Classic Caribbean Chic.
This is a large 1br Villa, (approximately 1000 square feet inside). And a large pool deck with 14’x14’ freshwater infinity pool.
During the day enjoy lively West Bay Beach or the quiet of your private pool deck.
The house is at the back of the property but there is a very easy walking path to it. Nice views of the valley and infinity bay.
Off the bedroom is a large screened in balcony for evenings outside and no pests.
Large kitchen and a gas grill on the deck.
The bedroom has a full king bed with high quality hybrid mattress. LED tv’s in the living room and bedroom. All the spaces are very spacious.
The Villa is a completely stand alone building on the Casa Familia property.
We have 2 golf carts on site, available for $15per day or $75 per week for the 4 seater and $20day and $100 / week for the 6 seater. Cannot be used to travel on the main road just our local community. (Beach and back)
Enquire about availability at time of booking, pay at the property. please note that the cart is not a part of the rental, if for some reason it is not working we do not have a replacement readily available. All guests using the cart are responsible for any potential damage while in possession.

- Casa Familia - 3BR/3BA Main house on the main level
- The Apartment - 1 BR/1BA ground level apartment of the main house.
- The Villa @ Casa Familia - Very large, 1 BR/1BA guesthouse with exclusive pool.
All have their own independent access (separate listings on this platform) but can be booked as an entire property (send a special request)
The house and pool are completely stand alone.
We are not usually at the property but we have a local property manager to take care of anything guests require.
Quiet subdivision with excellent mid-beach access. This is west Bay beach proper, not just any beach in West Bay. Easy walk to dozens of beach restaurants and bars and an easy water taxi to dozens more in West End.
Not a lot of public parking in West Bay beach. Pretty much every thing is walking distance from the house.
We supply beach towels and have some beach chairs in the Villa (foldable) or other larger ones closer to the beach access (to take to public beach area). We have a quiet private beach section for neighborhood guests.
Guests of the Villa (part of Casa Familia) can take advantage of special discounts at Gula Restaurant (right at our beach access) and their beach club (enquire with our property manager).
Our guests also receive special discounts for lounge chairs at Beachers restaurant (no charge - with food or drink purchase most days and a small surcharge on cruise ship afternoons). Just mention you are from Casa Familia.

My wife Renee and I are from Port Severn Ontario, I work in management and she is a television host. We love travel and anything close to water. We originally discovered Roatan on cruises and thought it was a great place but when we visited for a week we fell in love with it. We call it the Cinderella island, not too big, not too small, not too hot and not cold at all. The people are its greatest asset, islanders are welcoming and generous.
We have five children and a large extended family, we bought this place so that we could enjoy it with them and we named it Casa Familia because that is the most meaningful thing to us. We have hosted families from all over the world and in all sorts of configurations. Groups from 1 to 20 and they become family.
We love hosting because it lets us enjoy with out guests some of their most prized memories, their family vacations. We do everything we can to make those vacations as easy and enjoyable as possible. We can help you curate as much or as little as you like.

Why they chose this property
Our neighbourhood is unique because it offers very close proximity to one of the best sections of West Bay Beach and also offers a quiet oasis from the bustle of an awesome but sometimes very active beach. Emerald Beach is a small community in West Bay with more traditional Honduran beach designs in a small subdivision with direct access to the heart of West Bay beach. No car is required to get to the beach and the dozens of restaurants and bars at the beach. This convenience adds to your relaxation. While at the beach we also have a very quiet and shaded beach area for our neighbourhood owners and guest to enjoy. (Beach chairs down there).
Relax by the pool and enjoy visits by the Macaws or friendly Agouti or head to the beach and wade in the calm clear waters of West Bay beach or experience some of the best snorkelling in the world right from shore at the western wall. All of it walking distance.

What makes this property unique
Our property very close to the beach while at the same time offering the ability to real on a quiet property just slightly off the beach. The villa and casa are both very large spaces relative to many island rentals and have private pools and screened porches that let you enjoy outdoors in any weather (and less flying insects).
While the walk to the beach is easy, we also have golf carts on site available to those with mobility challenges or just want the added convenience.
Another aspect of the property we love and continue to invest in is the gardens. We have over twenty palm and coconut trees on the property and have planted hundreds of hibiscus shrubs, fruit trees and other indigenous plants on the property since 2022. The gardens at Casa Familia really help create that oasis feel.
