Seascape is a low-density, three-story Gulf-front condominium community located on the south (beach) side of Perdido Beach Boulevard, with a private beach and boardwalk. The location is ideal—walk to restaurants, shopping, and local attractions while enjoying a quieter, low-rise setting.

Our stay was wonderful! Space was perfect. You can sit on the back deck and see the ocean between the houses across the street. It is a smaller complex which makes the beach less crowded. Owner was great and very quick to respond with questions we had. We plan to go back.

Perfect for our needs

We had a short-notice trip to the area and wanted to maximize convenience to spend some time at the beach. This property fit the bill perfectly. It’s a very short walk to the beach via the boardwalk, and it’s also conveniently located near local restaurants and attractions. Our host, Tina, was very helpful and responsive.

We enjoyed our stay. Weather was perfect. Place was clean and nice. Only problem was the water pressure in showers and the queen bed in master was squeaky and the mattress was uncomfortable.

The overall stay was nice. The unit was beautiful! Exactly as it stated. The tv in one of the rooms didn't work and the stove was labeled incorrectly but neither of those things affected our time there.

Great place to stay!!

The condo had great view! Everything was so nice inside!!! The owner and staff were so very nice and helpful! The only thing that was disappointing were the two guest room TVs. They had no roku, and only one would connect to Wi-Fi amd then it only got 3 channels. We all like to lie down ans warch TV at night. Not a deal breaker by any means....we will most definitely be back!!!

Our Summer Vacation

The location was wonderful. The furniture and all was pretty much up to date. The beach was beautiful. The only things I can report negatively is the vacuum was so full- the bag inside we took out but were not able to find another one at the store to replace it so we could use it- so imagine how much sand we had- we had to go buy a broom & dust pan. The vents were pretty dirty. The one in the kitchen- when you walked under it you could smell the mold/mildew coming from it and in the bathrooms you can see how dirty the vents were. Thankfully the smell was only when you walked under it. The washer stopped working several times so we had to spend a good amount of time trying to figure out how to fix it so we could wash our clothes. Parking is really tight. If you park next to a truck you have no room at all to hardly get out of your car- someone door dinged my car while I was there. The pool was ok, it had no lights at dark so I didn’t take my children even though they really wanted to go. Being on a middle floor the noise from upstairs was super loud, even after 10pm you could hear people running upstairs. All in all it was ok. I would rate it 6/10.

Not what I expected

We have had so many issues with our stay. Upon checking in we quickly noticed it was full of sand. Just walking across the living room floor our feet had sand all over them. We swept the floor and had a pile of sand. During the first few days I swept and mopped the floors 3 times. I contacted the property manager about it but she was adamant that she personally cleaned the condo before our arrival. We also had sand in some of the beds which means they weren’t changed after the last guest. We had a roach in our bathroom which I also contacted the property manager about. She stated she would check into it. The next morning, without any communication we had a pest control man at our door at 8:30am. I asked if he could come back since we we’re still sleeping. He came back in 10 mins giving us enough time to wake up and get dressed. Another night we had to call 911 on the guest above us. At 1AM they were in an altercation. We were scared for our own safety. It sounded like they were trashing the place. Plus they were yelling obscenities so loud we could hear every word. It woke us all up as it was so loud. My son was crying cause he was scared about everything he was hearing. The police responded with 3 police cars. Even after the police left, the guest above us were rocking the place till 2:30 and was back up at 7AM the next morning. The guest above us kept us up most of the week with their late night partying. Our last day we had reserved, our code to enter the condo was turned off. Thankfully we had a balcony we could access so that we were able to get inside our condo. However, the sliding doors don’t lock so we had to worry about our belongings being left in a unsecured condo. I have been to Orange Beach multiple times and never stayed at Seascapes. I won’t be back. With the multiple bad experiences plus the misleading photos of the ocean view we were highly disappointed. According to the photos posted, there is a clear view to the beach. The photo needs to be updated. There are now 2 large beach house directly in front of the condo that are not pictured in the photos. Highly misleading. Also, the pool is located at the back of the property. The beach access is a block away from the condo. This was also misleading. According to the description the beach access was located in front of the condo. This is not the case. Unfortunately, we also were not offered any kind of refund for all these experiences. A partial refund would have been nice.

This guest was provided a full night refund. I own the condo and we rarely have any issues. Read my description and you’ll see it’s not misleading. I apologized to the guest and I tried to take care of each issue encountered. I told her I would send pest control to spray because of the roach. I notified her and I did not know pest control came at 8:30. The rain has been more greater this summer and Alabama roaches come inside when it rains. I had cleaned the condo and sand is all around my beach condo. The beach is directly in front of our complex and the boardwalk is 100 feet or so in front of the west end of the small 30 Unit complex. We strive to remove sand from the condo but you literally walk in from the beach and sand is surrounding the complex which is only 3 stories. I have no control over other condos in the complex and during summer sometimes guests can be rowdy but our complex is typically quiet and pleasant. I apologized to my guest and contacted the owner of the condo above ours and she had no idea of the police being called. I provided the guest a night refund. Our condo was remodeled in January 2021 and new sliding doors installed in May 2021 which lock. I’m very sorry this family had a poor experience and strive to be an attentive owner. This is not common for me.

Condo is part of a small complex. It is a corner unit with a good view, especially because price is more affordable. Unit is updated, clean, nice. My only complaint is the limited hot water supply. Definitely needs a tankless.

Not what we expected

A vacation to the beach is always enjoyable, however this one has to start with our own cleaning which I thought we paid for in our fees. Sand I realize is hard to get cleaned up but there was nothing clean about it. We cleaned and mopped multiple times to keep our feet from turning black and the guests before us must have enjoyed Cheetos and eating in bed during their stay as the mattress liner was covered in food and grime. Thankful for the washing machine so we didn’t feel like we were living in someone else’s filth. We were slightly disappointed in the overall view as the pictures listed are not updated and do not give a true reflection of the “beachfront” as there is 2 very large/tall homes now which were vaguely mentioned but not pictured. Having a kitchen, refrigerator/stove and small community area to BBQ was nice so our family of 6 didn’t have to eat out so much. Fairly small pool and deck area but perfect for the kids.

Would not recommend!

Owner did not even have the decency to tell us that both sliding glass doors to the balcony do not lock, leaving access to the condo wide open! We ended up finding a piece of wood that was in the back of a closet which we jammed in the bottom for a makeshift locking system. The parking spaces are so thin even the smallest of cars cannot open their doors if there are cars in the spot next to it. The place was overall poorly cleaned and the windows were covered in a smudgy fog. The wooden balcony floor was splintering and paint chipping everywhere.

I’m surprised at Mike’s review. I take great pride in my condo and my guests being pleased. My condo has brand new sliding glass doors installed and this is the first I’ve heard the doors aren’t locking. The condo has been rented back to back all season. The balcony is still wood since we had a hurricane that devastated many areas and we have new balcony boards coming. The condo association is promising the new floors but the floors are not a safety issue. There was granite damage after Mike’s family departed. I filed a damage insurance claim and then he posted his review. Im very sorry he did not report any displeasure to me during his entire stay. My condo was remodeled in January and new sliding doors in May.

Beautiful location and view

We came down for X-mas. A beautiful place with a lot of space for our whole family. We got to watch the dolphins from our balcony in the mornings. Property manager was so easy to work with and super nice. Elevator for elderly parents who were with us was a plus. Plenty of supplies for everything we needed. Fin & Fork is a must visit place for great food. Easy walk down steps and pretty much right on beach. Definitely will come back!

Lovely, spacious condo for a nice beach trip

We enjoyed our stay at this condo for Fall Break. My husband and I plus our 2 sons--19 and 14--had plenty of room with the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One of the bedrooms included 4 bunks so we could have invited extra guests to go with us. My kids were glad to each have their own bedroom. We loved the extra-long balcony. Although there are a couple houses between this condo and the beach, there was still a lovely view of the ocean from anywhere on the balcony and from inside the condo. I always splurge at the beach and rent chairs, and we could see our reserved chairs from the balcony. Although we walked through a path on the dunes to get to the beach, there was a boardwalk at the far end of the condo that we could have used. My son enjoyed playing with a boogie board that we found on the balcony. There were more than enough towels for the four of us for our 5 day stay. Even though my 14 year old son takes interminably long showers, we never ran out of hot water. We played in the pool which we had to ourselves most of the time. This condo is in easy walking distance to a Souvenir City, and we walked across the street to Bubba's Seafood for dinner one night. It is also in easy driving distance to many restaurants and shops. One chilly morning, we explored the small but interesting Alabama's Gulf Coast Zoo. Beauiful views, spacious condo, excellent communication, great price!
