Cozy 2-bedroom cabin on the river in Vancleave

Enjoy a peaceful stay at this 2-bedroom cabin in Vancleave. The lovely space features two queen beds and four twin beds, perfect for families or groups. With two bathrooms, guests can enjoy added convenience during their visit. The cabin offers excellent heating and air conditioning, ensuring comfort no matter the season. Relax in a fantastic setting that feels both cozy and inviting on the screened-in wraparound porch. With a view of the river and private location, this is a great place to call homebase while you're away.

The full kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven and dishwasher. The living room has a large sectional that can be used for sleeping if needed. We just ask that you use the provided sheets in the ottoman. This cabin also has a washer/dryer for longer staying guests.

To get to this cabin, guests will drive down our personal driveway and pass by our residential home. This cabin is tucked away from the other cabins for privacy and space. This cabin is the largest of our three nature-based rentals located on our property.

Please know, we have our two dogs on the property that will be leashed when outside. Unfortunately, we do not allow guests to bring dogs during their stay.

The cabin was very clean and supplied well beyond expectation. The furniture was all very comfortable. The wooded setting was quiet and peaceful. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck at river side. I highly recommend this destination.

This has got to be the best little gem in Vancleave. The gorgeous cabin was stocked with games, books, and movies, and that doesn't even compare to the spectacular nature preserve it is nestled within. There are other cabins on the property, but they mostly make you feel secure in case of an emergency. We had plenty of privacy from the natural landscaping, and the water views from the screened in porch were breathtaking. I almost hate to give a rave review of this place, in fear that they will book up and I'll never be able to secure a weekend stay again. It was truly magical.

Why they chose this property

The cabin resides down our driveway on our 15 acres with two other guest cabins and our personal home. You have access to the boardwalk that takes you to the dock and kayak launch. There are trees that are great for hanging a hammock and spots to look out into the river. We do not provide kayaks, please bring your own.

What makes this property unique

Our Carson Cabin is located down our gated driveway and is set away from the other cabins on the property for privacy and wonderful isolation. Guests have said they feel like they are in the mountains when they stay here. Hang your hammock, listen to the birds, take a walk in the forest. Our property is a wonderful place to disconnect and recharge. The deep porch has plenty of comfortable furniture for relaxing. The interior design is clean and simple to complement the peaceful atmosphere. This cabin also provides a waterfront view with access to our dock and has its own private parking at the front.

We prioritize providing a space for guests that is immersive in nature. Our property is habitat to an array of critters including birds, butterflies, lizards, toads, lightening bugs, owls, snakes, and more! We have a stunning forested area and riverside habitat where folks can see flowers, berries, and even pitcher plants.
