Check out was advertised at 11 am but host texted us in the morning to check out at 10 am. Huge inconvenience for family with kids. We asked host about check out instructions and they stated to wash dirty dishes. Later they charged us extra for dirty towels. Should have stated to do the laundry and we would have gladly done so. Has a sign to leave outdoor lights on all the time, yet charges extra for leaving them on. Outdoor grill was rusted, inoperable. Dishonest if not fraudulent host - would not rent this property or from this host ever again. Be aware.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry the stay did not meet your expectations. Checkout time is 11:00 AM as listed, and when a scheduling miscommunication occurred that morning, I confirmed you were welcome to stay until 11 so your family would not be inconvenienced. Guests are only asked to wash dishes they use, and laundry is not required. After checkout, the home required additional cleaning and repair beyond normal use, which was documented and submitted through VRBO’s standard resolution process. During the stay, I responded promptly to requests, including purchasing a brand-new grill and providing firewood. I take pride in maintaining a clean, well-cared-for home and providing responsive service to my guests, and I remain committed to creating a positive experience for future stays.
