The home was clean and well organized. We were walking distance to the marina and park. The location was good to get to many places ( restaurants, gyms, parks and beaches). I was able to reach the host for all my needs. The neighborhood was very quiet and I felt safe.
Pros: - Clean, quiet, renovated, no bugs, price okCons: old house renovated not always "professionally" let's say... missing some items (hair dryer, toilet paper, beach chairs). If you are single or a couple for 3-4 days, its ok. Don't plan to make a dinner for 4 peoples there.Again, for us, it was fine.

Host replied pretty well, but did not address my concerns. First issue was a homeless guy a few blocks from the house getting up and walking in front of my car. That shook my wife up. The area is not "desirable"... We did not stay at the location at all. Never say the inside. Host told me "there was no homeless guy" and the booking was non refundable. I should just "give it a chance"...

I will start by saying the location and the cleanliness was right on. We enjoyed how close it was to the spot we needed to get to and the house was clean when we arrived. Everything else just felt strange. The wifi didn't work on the TV. There was only one towel in the bathroom (which meant that the 2 guests had to share a towel). The A/C was turned off in the house when we arrived, so it was so hot. There wasn't a regular sized trash can, just a tiny one under the sink. The shades/blinds/curtains made it possible for people to see in the house from multiple places, which didn't made us very uncomfortable. There were also places, like the master where it seemed like they were working on the house and just stopped (the trim board was just partially done and awkwardly propped up on the wall. For us it was a strange combination of things. I wouldn't stay here again.

The home is an add not an actual duplex! The 1 star is for the decor and SOME appliances (stove missing a knob). The power in the home can’t hold to much electricity at one time the breaker tripped and I was sent outside to switch back on just to see additional cars parked right out the back door which is in the only bed room. The final inconvenience was the home is not insulated wel or not at all therefore the wall unit in the room is not strong enough to warm the full home in Florida 40 degrees weather at night ( yes I arrived at night). The host did not leave the heat on as she was at the home earlier that day before I arrived which could have helped a whole lot. Inside the home was 55 degrees that wall unit was not strong enough. Guest should not have to sleep in the cold in a Vrbo vacation home, even if it’s “one night of cold weather in Florida!” Bottom line the home is not wired well with flickering lights inside and is not prepared for the few cold days Florida does get in the 40’s or lower. The host Jana did not issue a refund she said sorry for the 1 day cold inconvenience.
The host was very welcoming and nice and we had a fun trip. Although, the room always seemed a bit stuffy and the shower was extremely narrow which I personally have a thing with the shower curtain touching me while I shower, especially one in another home. There was also little ventilation in the bathroom which caused a lot of humidity after a shower. Another small issue I had was there was no large trash bags there was only dollar tree bags to use for trash on our five day stay which caused trash to accumulate quite fast throughout our trip. Overall, I still had a fun trip and appreciate the place to stay!
