The “host” was cooperative- I will state that first.The disappointment was the miss on how the property was represented online.

Title: Serious cleanliness, maintenance, and privacy issuesUpon check-in, I notified the host of a few concerns, including dirty kitchen and bathrooms, overflowing outdoor trash, and a broken upstairs bathroom pocket door that left us with no privacy. We also mentioned broken blinds and a damaged back fence.The host offered to come in to fix the fence and blinds. We declined because we had already cleaned the space ourselves and explicitly stated we did not want anyone in the house. Despite our refusal, the host entered the property without our permission, while we were out, to replace the blinds.While the host did issue a 20% partial refund for the initial issues, the unauthorized entry was a significant breach of privacy. We actually loved the layout of the house, and if it had been properly kept up, it would have been perfect. The location of the house was very good. However, due to the upkeep and privacy issues, we cannot recommend staying here.
