About this property
A little slice of heaven on Lake George Direct Waterfront Private Dock & Beach!!
This is a newly constructed immaculately maintained year round lake front home in a quiet and private Adirondack setting. It offers an extended and spectacular 10 mile view of the lake and its surroundings. Either from the comfort of the interior of the home with many large windows or from its 3 decks, the scenery is overwhelming.
Outside, at the foundation level there is a 15' by 35' granite stone patio with a 4.5' diameter sunken firepit that sits about 20' above the lake and overlooks the lake, along with a wood shed 20' away that's stocked with plenty of wood, and several Adirondack chairs and small tables surrounding the fire pit.
There is a dock to jump off for swimming and for fishing on the right side of the property as you are looking at the lake. In addition, there is a private 12' wide sandy beach to the left side of the property as you are looking at the lake, as well as a sitting area above the beach, and a large grassy lawn area above that.
The home, a 2 story structure, has the main living on the second level. The entrance door leads to a fully equipped modern kitchen for formal or casual dining, which leads to a large deck overlooking the lake that includes a large table and chairs and a grill. The kitchen as well as the living room have tongue and groove wood paneled cathedral ceilings, ceiling fans, a free standing gas fireplace, and hardwood floors throughout. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 with two twin sized beds and the primary bedroom with a queen bed and on-suite bathroom, along with another full and additional half bath. There is a another small deck outside the primary bedroom with a special table and chairs for dining and/or viewing. From there, stairs lead to the lake and a 50ft dock.
The lower basement walkout level at the bottom of the turret has a deck and printer and yet another spectacular view of the lake. There is a half bath on this level making it access from the dock. From there, one can go down to the lake and dock for swimming, boating, fishing, or just plain relaxation. There is also a private sandy beach for swimming and use of kayaks and a canoe which are included in the rental.
The house is equipped with forced hot air heat, air conditioning and a central vacuum system.
We are also part of an association that provides a lakefront picnic area as well as swimming, fishing and use of a large open sundeck covering a u-shaped dock about 100 yards from the house.
We are in the Adirondack Park, next to several trail-heads for trails that go on for many miles with some leading to Anthony's Nose and several other famous spots in the area.

About the host
Hosted by Peter Emmi
The wife and I are retired and living about 2 hours from the property. We had it built for our family which, unfortunately, is scattered all over so they cannot be there all the time. Correspondingly, we decided to rent the property for a limited number of weeks per year to those who would care for it as we have.
Why they chose this property
Our home is located on a serene and peaceful part of Lake George, away from the hustle and bustle of the southern end of the lake. We are located across from the Hague and the Waltonian Islands and are about 3 miles north of Gull Bay and 6 miles south of Ticonderoga. It's quiet and somewhat secluded, yet provides all of the modern amenities.
What makes this property unique
The property is called 'The View' for that very reason. The view when looking at the lake from the main floor deck or windows extends 10 miles south to Black mountain, across the lake to the west to the Hague and surrounding towns, and north towards 'Anthony's Nose'. The modern amenities, custom wood work and cabinetry, combined with majestic Lake George as a back drop, creates a little piece of heaven.
