About the host
Hosted by Karen Regan
As retired hospitality professionals It is our goal to make every one of our guests feel at home as a 'true local' in one of our unique, pristine, meticulously designed, and luxurious accommodations. We take pride in ensuring our homes are maintained with the highest standards in quality and care. We know planning a trip can be stressful, so we provide a personalized and stress-free experience from booking to departure for our guests. We look forward to helping you write the first chapter of your story with us and welcome you back for years to come.
Why they chose this property
Our home is NOT a full-time rental. Instead, we have renovated Heron's Hideaway for family, making it available when they visit. Amelia Island is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, Intracoastal Waterway, Nassau Sound and one of the East’s largest and deepest inlets, ⛵Cumberland Sound. Edged with natural Appalachian quartz beaches and framed by sand dunes. Amelia Island's shores have long been a source of beauty. And, the ocean's average temperature during the summer? A welcoming 82 degrees. What are you waiting for? Grab your towel and sunscreen and we'll see you on the beach!
What makes this property unique
100% renovated studio with unique decor selected by my wife. Our location is an active lifestyle guest's dream come true for those interested in biking, 🚣♂️kayaking, 🏃running, ⛵boating, and🐟fishing. Fort Clinch State Park is right in your back yard offering 🥾hiking, cycling, etc. Egan's Creek Greenway is less than 1/2 mile away where you can explore the outdoors on foot or via 🚴bike with miles of exploration and adventure.
