It was the perfect place for our 25th anniversary!

I liked how cozy the tiny house was, especially the bedroom window that made you feel like you were outdoors, but safely. 😊 The hot tub was a nice relaxing touch and glad I got to use it twice. The place was immaculately clean. I also love the proximity to Hocking Hills - particularly a side of Hocking we don’t ever get to see! We took a trail we had never been on before. Improvements: put a small table on the deck between chairs, provide water glasses.

We mainly used this spot to sleep as we hiked every day and had a wedding to attend. It is up the top of a hill, you cannot see any other property once you’re there. The hot tub was great. It is a very unique spot. The shape of the house and the decor is great. Checkout was simple.We did have mouse droppings along the counter but with the area we were not surprised. The host responded right away to tend to my messages.

We were very excited to stay here on a friends getaway to hocking hills. However there were several issues during our stay. First, we were told a couple of weeks before that there were some potholes in the drive due to rain and they would work on them (the potholes were still there and made it pretty difficult to navigate the drive in cars since it is a narrow gravel path through the woods and up a hill). Second, upon arrival we noticed a very strong unpleasant odor that stuck to all of our belongings even after checkout. There also were a lot of dead bugs behind the pillows on the beds. Third, there really needs to be instructions for how to use the ac/heating unit, and especially the hot water heater. Finally, on the second night of our stay we had to call the police because people had found their way to the house (it is in a remote area) and it spooked us so much we left early. It is really neat having windows everywhere until you can’t cover them and hear people outside when there shouldn’t be. The host was semi apologetic and gave us a small refund that did not cover the night we did not stay. We had to leave and drive for a few hours back and find somewhere else to stay instead.
