Wow, great stay. The house was even better than the pictures. Comfy beds, kitchen was perfect, so relaxing. We had everything we needed for a cozy stay. Watching the tide come and go was wonderful amazing to see Mt. Rainier. A real treat to be right on the beach. Thanks Tom for the easy check-in and departure. We’ll be back for sure

So glad you had a great stay, David. :)
Turns out the brand new HVAC system we installed had a faulty thermostat. It stopped telling the main control that the temperature has been reached!
That’s been replaced and the system is working perfectly now for your next visit. :)
My family and I really enjoyed our April stay here. Tom is an excellent host who was very responsive to questions and thorough with details for our stay. The house is charming, on a quiet street, with a beautiful view of the Livingston Bay and has easy access to town. The house was super clean and perfect for our four adults. Tom supplied a detailed guide for us on our arrival which was very useful. It was quiet and peaceful and so pleasant to sit out on the deck and enjoy the scenery. When the nights got cool it was nice to have the fireplace - though we had a small hiccup with the fireplace remote batteries - easily sorted out :). We were fortunate that Mt. Rainier was visible during our stay. We found the beds comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. We used this location as a starting point to visit the Tulip festival and it worked out so well. Camano Island has nice grocery stores and friendly people. We'd book this again without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway.
Beautiful setting and stunning views. After a long drive, it was nice to walk in to a very clean house. The house was very well stocked with anything you might need for daily living. It was a great place for me for an extended stay. The mattress in the master bedroom was very comfortable and I rested well. Tom and Marie were very quick to respond if I had any questions or concerns and were very accommodating with any of my requests. Great hosts. Good communicators. Hope to be able to stay there again.

About the host

We are Pacific Northwest natives who love the natural beauty of Camano Island and the surrounding area. We love to travel, especially abroad, and have had wonderful experiences in other short-term rentals around the world. We hope to share that kind of experience for people visiting our corner of the planet.
Why they chose this property
Camano Island has been a special place in our family for multiple generations. Originally from Seattle, Camano is the perfect location: a one-hour drive from the city, no ferry line to deal with, and yet you still feel like you're away from the hustle and bustle. Livingston Bay Shore Drive, in particular, with its southern view of Mt. Rainier and all-day sun (when we're lucky enough to have sun) just can't be beat.
What makes this property unique
The expansive view of Livingston Bay with Mt. Rainier in the distance, with eagles, herons, ospreys, and the occasional seal living their lives on display makes this a magical place. Not to mention the water is warm in the summer due to the slowly moving tide. Winters are fun too with storms that blow in, with driftwood constantly changing the shoreline. The comfy spaces indoors, the natural views outdoors make this a great place to chill, cook, talk and branch off on great outdoor adventures all around.
