The pool is open from June to the end of September.
This holiday house of 90 m2, giving space for up to five persons and with a little Pool (4m diameters) and with a big terrace, is surrounded by a beautiful, enclosed garden of 2000 m2, exclusively for you.
A place to be comfortable and at ease, to pause and dwell on, close to nature, in a fenced garden (2000 m2) - which you will have on your own, exclusively. With sunny and shadowy places, an octagonal pool (4 m diameters) and a sandbox; a generous, shaded and sheltered terrace. The lovingly equipped homelike house has 90-m2, 3 bed rooms, 5 beds (2*2 single beds which can be assembled, 1*1 single bed); fully equipped kitchen with stove / oven, with spacious fridge/freeze, micro wave, electric kettle, toaster, coffee machine, dish washer and radio. The bath room has a tube with shower facility and a bidet. The water closet is separate. The ample living and dining room (one large room) has a chimney, sofa, satellite-TV and DVD-player (with blue-ray) as well as a high-quality stereo system. No washing machine. Parking is directly on the property. The site hosts a great variety of plants and birds.
Here, closeness to nature and historical important cultural landscape meet and unite: in the biosphere reserve and landscape park Luberon! In a distance of 60 km, both to Avignon and Aix-en-Provence, 7 km north of the market city Apt, at the edge of a lively village St. Saturnin lès Apt, 360 m altitude. - Also a paradise for children and dogs.
Land usage around the house forms a mixture of agriculture (mainly olives and cherries) and single houses. Above the lively village swells the Vaucluse massif up to 1100 m altitude, with its many well hiking trails over the massif and through its ravine valleys.
The culturally active village St. Saturnin lès Apt has a bakery, a confectioner, a little SPAR with things of daily supply, a butcher, a famers‘ shop as well as bars and restaurants and a weekly market. There is a public library with 24-hour WIFI for free (within and around). Points of touristic interest are: the old mill with a gorgeous view into the valley, the old castle ruin on an elongated boat-like cliff, which in earlier times was used as fortified village and der wonderful dam reservoir between both of them.
A visit to the famous ochres of Rousillon, Rustrel and the ochre mines of Goult (Gargas) is worth it – they are in a distance of 7-20 km. From the holiday house you can hike directly to the mountain „Perréal“ (an ancient Celtic place, now with the chapel “Sainte Radegonde” on its top). Near Gordes you can visit an old village of Borries (circular houses made with layered stones). In a distance of 20 km you will find the famous and impressive „Fontaine de Vaucluse“: the major karst type intermittent spring of Europe, originating from a cave on the bottom of a cliff at the end of a valley.
