This was one of those rare times that we wish we could leave a higher review than five stars! From the moment we arrived to the most beautifully appointed farm house, to the time we left saying goodbye to the horses and cows, every detail of our stay was provided for. We came to North Carolina for a wedding and when we travel, we don’t like to separate. It’s often times very difficult to find appropriate accommodations for three full families. Not only was this home large enough for six adults and four toddlers, the layout of the living areas and the amazing outdoor space kept us from tripping over one another. The home is open and spacious yet cozy in the areas that you would expect it to be.Our host Michelle, and her husband are a treasure and the homeowner is lucky to have found them. Their immediate attention to any problem that we had was a breath of fresh air. Michelle is a living example of North Carolina charm and hospitality. It was obvious to me before we even arrived that our comfort was her primary objective. So whether needing a getaway time or coming in for a function, this home has it all.
This house was accommodating for my larger group in a quiet area. We used the kitchen, back porch and living room for gatherings. A few notes; the upstairs AC was very slow. During the day, it was very hot. At night it cools down enough, but definitely an issue. A couple of the bathrooms didn’t have soap in the dispensers, and the ice machine was very slow. Overall, a nice property and area for a big group, but a few issues that could be resolved.
