We stayed here for the Barkley Fall Classic race. The 3 of us all thought it worked out great and was very nice for the price. If we attempt the race again we will definitely check to see if this one is available.
Quiet neighborhood less than a minute from the state highway. Better than a hotel room because of the full kitchen, at a comparable price. Close to several grocery and big box stores. It has a twin and a full bed. If you have a 4th, they're on the couch. Not trailer friendly if you're planning a trip to Windrock.
Nice home, very clean with comfy beds. The carport would not work for my truck but there was parking on the street. Close to everything. Would stay here again!
Host has great communication. Place is very clean. I think it’s a divided house but I never heard a neighbor. I traveled with a well trained dog. He was comfortable there and they have a blanket cover for the couch which works great for pets. The neighborhood may look a little low scale at first but I found genuinely nice neighbors. Respecting their neighborhood goes a long way. Park as indicated and leash your pet. This may be a hard parking situation for folks with big rigs or trailers. Know before you go. Clean, convenient, honest description, great host, has the right basic amenities.
Home was very easy to find. It was clean, and very well maintained. Very well stocked everything you would need. Only situation we had was we were a dually pulling a 16ft trailer as we traveled to SXS ride. Jellico is a dead end culdisac with everyone parking on the street that was impossible. Only had to back down the road a short distance 8 homes each time we left the home. Good thing my husband is an awesome driver. Located next to everything. The host was awesome also.
Perfect place for a short term rental for someone working in the area. Appreciated a full compliment of appliances and all the basics--sugar, salt, pepper, soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, etc. Also, the place was very well maintained. Everything worked and not a single burned out light bulb (a pet peeve which often correlates to the degree a maintenance). Loved the cottage garden with roses and tomatoes in front. Very quiet. Cozy. Comfortable bed and couch. Someone is putting effort into this place and it shows. I will seek it out on my next trip to the area.
Stayed here with my family and it was exactly what we needed - clean, efficient, and close to where we needed to be computing the day. We would stay here again no question.
