While the casita is attached to our home, it is fully self-contained with its own entrance, kitchen, living area, bedroom, and bathroom—providing both privacy and independence.

Inside, you’ll find a cozy, well-appointed space with air conditioning and heating to keep you comfortable year-round. The clean, modern bathroom is perfect for refreshing after a day of fun or relaxation. Whether you prefer to unwind indoors or stay active, you’ll also have access to a fitness room to keep moving.

The Sun Lakes community offers an incredible lifestyle with golf courses, live entertainment, restaurants, and bars/nightlife just moments away. This peaceful retreat is ideal for relaxing while enjoying all the amenities the area has to offer.

A very quiet, pleasant place to stay. The hostess was quite helpful and there were no issues.

The host seemed considerate and welcoming. Unfortunately, the heating and A\C system is loud and has no controller in the unit. It’s controlled by the main house. I was unable to sleep there because it came on for one minute every 10 minutes repeatedly between 1:00AM and 5:00AM. The host agreed to turn it off when asked the next day. Gladly, the outdoor temps didn’t require it to be on. There is not a dishwasher or stove in the kitchen. The full size fridge was nice. I believe there has been a cat in the unit as my allergies acted up after being there for a few hours. I booked 12 nights but left after six. I asked about a refund and was told they would check into VRBO’s policy but they never got back to me.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry the stay didn’t meet your expectations. To clarify for future guests, there have been no pets in the unit — no cats, no dogs, and no other animals. The guest casita also has its own recently installed climate system, allowing guests to adjust the temperature for their comfort. When you mentioned the noise, we worked to address it immediately however some noise is unavoidable Our listing accurately reflects the kitchen amenities. The space includes a full-size refrigerator and other essentials, but it does not include a stove or dishwasher, and the price of the unit reflects these simpler kitchen amenities. Many guests staying for shorter trips find the setup works well for their needs. Regarding your early departure, VRBO’s policy clearly outlines that refunds are not issued after a certain timeframe, and the reservation fell outside that window. We appreciate your feedback and wish you the best in your future travels

Space was clean and well supplied. It was appreciated that coffee pods and water were available for use. There was also a hair dryer which was great as I had forgotten mine! Host even got a pool pass for the community pool.
