Teleurstellend

De foto's op de site suggereren een rustig gelegen en ydillisch huis. In de praktijk ligt het huis aan een drukke doorgaande weg. En deelt het huis een oprit met nog twee andere huizen. Waarvan er één gedurende ons verblijf volledig tegen de vlakte werd gegooid. Vanaf 8 uur 's ochtends lawaai en geen enkele privacy. We konden dus niet rustig buiten zitten. De keuze was binnen met alle ramen en deuren dicht of de deur uitgaan. Het huis zelf was rommelig (lege flessen en oud papier van de vorige bewoners waren niet opgeruimd, stofdraden). Bovendien bleek terplekke dat we alleen de onderste verdieping van het huis ter beschikking hadden. Gelukkig werd de bovenste verdieping niet gebruikt tijdens ons verblijf en was het Rauriserdal erg prachtig... De communicatie met de eigenaar verliep moeizaam. Reageerde niet op berichten via de vrbo-site, nam de telefoon niet op, belde ook niet terug en reageerde pas na ons vertrek op ons appje over de overlast van de sloop. In het huis is geen praktische informatie aanwezig over WiFi, afval of huisarts oid. Wel toeristische informatie. Als dit onze enige vakantieweek was geweest, dan hadden we dit jaar een zeer teleurstellende vakantie gehad...
