I took my daughter and her friends to Texas for her 14th birthday. We arrived around 9pm on the first night of our stay and were exhausted from a long day of traveling/site seeing. So, for the first night we didn't really check out the place much and everything at first glance appeared to be okay. On the first night however, there were a couple of things noticed like a broken bed/frame in the second bedroom to where there were bricks available to try and level the bed out. We managed the first night and just went to sleep. The second day is where we started noticing more things.1.) used bathroom products in the bathrooms 2.) no hand soap/trashcan in bathroom 3.) Air conditioner did not work, and they had one portable ac unit hooked up in the second bedroom which was NOT enough to cool all the rooms. 4.) The front door had a wooden frame that was rotting out and allowing a plant to grow into the townhome entry. 5.) Immediate smell of mildew/mold when you walk into the townhome. 6.) Outlet downstairs was poking out of the wall/hanging 7.) There were missing toiletry items like toilet paper and hand drying towels in one of the bathrooms 8.) The bathrooms had long dark hair in several places 9.) Appeared to be a blood stain in the master bathroom shower 10.) The area rugs used in the bedrooms were very dirty/dingy. Only thing good was the kitchen was beautiful. The host refused to compensate me in any way. Do not recommend staying here is you prefer cleanliness and a good stay.

We do want to clarify that prior to your arrival, we communicated that the bed in the second bedroom had been damaged by a previous guest. Our team made efforts to repair and stabilize it before your stay; however, it appears that this explanation and the steps taken were not fully acknowledged, and we understand how this may have still been frustrating upon arrival.
Regarding the additional concerns you mentioned, we take cleanliness and maintenance very seriously. The conditions described are not reflective of our usual standards, and we are actively reviewing our cleaning and inspection processes with our team to ensure these types of issues are properly addressed before guest arrival.
We also regret that the home did not feel comfortable during your stay, particularly with the concerns about temperature and overall condition. Our goal is always to provide a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment, and it’s clear we fell short in this instance. After your stay, several guest reviewed the positive to a nearly perfect rating and is visible to any future guest.
We appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention, as it allows us to make immediate improvements. We wish you and your family the best and are sorry again that your stay did not meet expectations.
