Charming small hideaway

The property is compact but so well organised and equipped that it is extremely comfortable. The view of the lake is lovely. We walked locally including along the Rhine but also toured to a number of destinations such as the Neckar valley, Bad Homburg, Rothenburg ob der Tauber and, of course, Speyer itself - a short drive away and not to be missed. We ate in Speyer but also at two local restaurants: Zum Alten Fritz and das Bootshaus, this latter only five minutes walk away. We ate there twice. Re the lake we understood from the owner that it is 4metres deep at edge going down to 25 metres in centre. For all its charm probably best left to strong and confident swimmers. Re the owner, Helmut Schaefer, he gave us a thorough briefing on arrival including a useful summary booklet in German and English. Helmut speaks very good English himself. He lives a few minutes walk away in the same street and, although we didn’t need to disturb him, it was reassuring to know the owner was nearby. We strongly recommend the cottage for a couple looking to relax and/ or use the excellent Autobahn connections to see the many sights of a charming area.

sehr schönes ruhig gelegenes Ferienhaus, toller gepflegter Seezugang, großer Steg wo auch Angeln möglich ist, in der Ferienwohnung hat uns nichts an Austattung gefehlt, 2 Fahrräder für kurze Erledigungen bekamen wir kostenfrei vom Vermieter, sehr viele Ausflugsziele und Lokalitäten in umittelbarer Umgebung, Fazit - 10 Tage waren zu kurz :-)

Dieser Aufenthalt in dem geschmackvoll und sehr schön eingerichteten Ferienhäuschen war für uns optimal. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war problemlos und herzlich. Ein Highlight ist der direkte Zugang zum See. Auch die überdachte Terasse ist optimal. In der Umgebung kann man sehr viel unternehmen, sei es mit Auto, Fahrrad oder zu Fuß. Trotz wechselhaften Wetters haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Osterurlaub

Wir waren oft mit dem Rad unterwegs. Es gab viel zu sehen, Städte wie Schwetzingen, Speyer, Mannheim. Gastronomie, Museen, Shopping, Schlösser und vieles mehr. Nur das Osterwetter war nicht ganz optimal. Alles in allem war es ein schöner Kurzurlaub.

Einfach schön

Eigentlich sollte ich gar keine Werbung machen...nicht das die Unterkunft vergriffen ist wenn wir nochmal hin möchten. Die Lage ist ruhig und perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren oder einfach schwimmen. Man hat ja den Luxus eines eigenen Seezuganges. Das Haus ist top ausgestattet und die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war unkompliziert. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Wir verbrachten 12 wunderschöne Tage in diesem kleinen, feinen Häuschen. Uns fehlte es an nichts. Besonders genossen haben wir den Zugang zum See und die überdachte Veranda die man bei jedem Wetter genießen kann. So freuen wir uns auf den nächsten Urlaub im Hause von Hr. Top-Unterkunft für Zwei

Die Ferienwohnung ist modern und sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Das Grundstück ist top gepflegt in einer ruhigen Umgebung. Darüber hinaus gibt es einen direkten Zugang zum See. Dem Vermieterehepaar kann man ausgesprochene Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft bescheinigen. Wir hatten nur eine reichliche Woche hier verbracht, uns aber sehr erholt und kommen gerne wieder.

Ruhig direkt am See und zusätzlich ideal gelegen für Ausflüge in die großartige Umgebung bietet dieses kleine, aber überaus feine Ferienhäuschen mit seiner beinahe perfekten und sehr eleganten Ausstattung alles, was das Herz begehrt. Nur wer normale Doppelbettbreite gewohnt ist, muss sich hier ein klein wenig umstellen...

Ein gelungener Urlaub!

Die Wohnung ist sehr ruhig an einem See gelegen und entspricht den hier vorhandenen Bildern (die Wohnung ist tatsächlich so schön, wie erhofft). Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir sehr freundlich von dem Vermieter der Wohnung empfangen. Nachdem uns die Wohnung gezeigt wurde, wurden auch alle wichtigen Anlaufstellen der Umgebung (Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants, etc.) vorgestellt. Neben den gängigen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten wie Aldi, Rewe, Lidl oder DM, erreicht man in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto auch einen sehr großen Globus. Der See war über den eigenen Steg sehr gut erreichbar. Es bestand die Möglichkeit, dort zu schwimmen. Für uns persönlich war uns dieses Ende September allerdings zu kalt. Wir haben stattdessen den Urlaub für viele Aktivitäten genutzt, die mit dem Auto sehr gut erreichbar waren. Beispiele hierfür sind der Hockenheimring, der nur wenige Minuten entfernt liegt, der Europapark (ca. 90 Fahrminuten), die Stadt Heidelberg (ca. 20 Fahrminuten) oder auch die Technikmuseen in Sinsheim (ca. 30 Fahrminuten) oder Speyer (ca. 25 Fahrminuten). Alles in Allem war es ein sehr gelungener Urlaub.

2 sehr entspannte Urlaubswochen mit einigen Radtourenn

Sehr schönes und mit viel Umsicht und Liebe zum Detail ausgestattetes Ferienhaus. Besonders die Stunden im Garten und auf der Terrasse, Morgen Yoga auf dem Steeg mit Schwanenbesuch und die Freundlichkeit der Familie Schäfer werden uns sicher in sehr guter Erinnerung bleiben. Und als Broteinkaufstipp muß ich unbedingt die Brotpuristen in Speyer erwähnen! Da könnt ihr ordentlich für das große Gefrierfach bunkern, wenn auch die Brote so super saftig sind, dass der Genuss auch ohne TK lange währt 😋

Das Haus am See

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in diesem Haus. Bei der gesamten Ausstattung des Hauses hat es an nichts gefehlt. Besonders schön fanden wir die überdachte Terrasse, da man auch bei leichtem Regen draußen bleiben konnte. Der eigene Steg ist natürlich wunderbar, ob zum Angeln (Wochenkarten können über den Angelverein Ketsch erworben werden) oder zum Baden... Einfach super! Vom Ferienhaus aus, kann man mit dem Fahrrad ganz schnell in sehr viele schöne kleine Städtchen radeln. Die Radwege sind überall sehr gut ausgebaut. Falls man den Rhein überqueren möchte, bitte genau nach den Fährzeiten schauen, manche fahren nicht täglich. Für Alle, die einen wirklich idyllischen, ruhigen, wunderschönen Platz zum Entspannen suchen, ist dieses Haus zu 100 % zu empfehlen.

Spontaner Urlaub

Wir waren auf der Suche nach einer kurzfristigen Möglichkeit, ein paar schöne und ruhige Tage zu erleben. Dabei sind wir auf die Ferienwohnung gestoßen. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr unkompliziert, die Antworten kamen sehr schnell. Vor Ort fanden wir ein wunderbar gelegenes und moderneres Ferienhaus. Alles war sauber und top ausgestattet. Speziell der Garten mit Zugang zum See hat uns begeistert. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und kommen gerne wieder.
