    Moorkate

    Das Feriendomizil liegt sehr ruhig in einer wunderschönen Landschaft. Hier wird einem das Relaxen leicht gemacht. Sehr reizvoll war die Beobachtung diverser Tierarten, wie Hase, Reh, Eichhörnchen und natürlich die Vogelvielfalt. Es gibt genügend Sehenswürdigkeiten in Leer als auch in der weiteren Umgebung. Der Charme des Hauses hat es uns angetan, die Fenster, die Türen und das ganze Ambiente des Hauses. Das Feriendomizil und auch die Stadt sind durchaus eine Reise wert.

    Stayed here for family gathering for 5 nights. Charming place in the country. Everything as stated in VRBO description. Would enjoy staying again and would recommend. Do need a car to get to location.

    Unglaublich schön

    Wir hatten richtig tolle Tage in der Moorkate. Ruhig gelegen, liebevoll eingerichtet und eine wundervolle Mischung als alt und neu. Ein Haus mit Charme und Charakter. Genau das Richtige zum Entschleunigen und ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge an die Nordsee.

    Tolles Haus für einen Familienurlaub

    Sehr schönes, großes und liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus in ausgesprochen ruhiger Lage. Unsere Kinder konnten so laut sein wie sie wollten - die Kühe hat es nicht gestört ;-) Toll ist auch der wirklich sehr große Tisch als "Schwerpunkt" und Zentrum des Familienlebens. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war ebenfalls sehr herzlich und umkompliziert. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt!

    Wunderschön

    Ende Mai 2022 waren wir, zwei erwachsene Paare , sehr gerne zu Gast in diesem wunderschönen, alten und romantischen Moorhaus. Es liegt absolut ruhig und dennoch sehr verkehrsgünstig auf einem fast parkähnlichen Grundstück mit einem prächtigen Bestand an mächtigen Eichen und Rhododendron-Büschen. Das rustikale Haus ist bestens gepflegt und verfügt über allen Komfort eines modernen Haushalts, einschließlich WLAN. Die Einrichtung und Dekoration ist mit viel Einfühlungsvermögen ausgewählt worden. Ein Traum-Anwesen für Gäste, welche die Ruhe und den Charme alter Katen zu schätzen wissen. Die sehr freundlichen Gastgeber Martina und Gisbert zu Knyphausen haben hier etwas Außergewöhnliches geschaffen und standen uns gerne auch bei allen Fragen zur Verfügung. Wir wünschen ihnen weiterhin viel Fortune und Erfolg mit der Erhaltung dieses Kleinods und freuen uns, wenn wir auch ein weiteres Mal hier willkommen wären.

    Die Kate ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Erkundungen rund um Leer. Das Objekt ist komplett ausgestattet und eine gelungene Symbiose zwischen Alt und Neu. Die Bilder im Internet spiegeln den Charme, den die Kate ausmacht sehr gut wieder. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

    Einfach mal zur Ruhe kommen

    In dieser urigen Moorkate kann man einfach mal die Seele baumeln lassen und seine Akkus aufladen. Mitten in der Natur und trotzdem sehr zentral um die vielen Ausflugsziele Ostfrieslands zu erkunden. Die Ausstattung und Gastfreundlichkeit ist dazu besonders nennenswert!

    Ideal für eine Auszeit

    Ein wundervolles Haus in trotz nahegelegener Autobahn ruhiger Lage. Geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit dem Auto nicht weit und per Fahrrad kommt man in einer guten Viertelstunde in die hübsche Altstadt von Leer. Alles in Allem ideal für eine entspannte Zeit abseits vom Trubel.

    Tolle Woche in Ostfriesland

    Wir haben die Tage sehr genossen. Das Haus hat sehr viel Atmosphäre. Wir haben uns sofort alle zuhause gefühlt. Ein paar nette Ausflüge in der Gegend gemacht. Meyerwerft, Greetsiel und Emden. Leider diesmal nicht NL! Wir kommen wieder.

    Gemütlich uriges Häuschen in toller Lage

    Die Kate ist sehr gemütlich und individuell eingerichtet - überall finden sich schöne Ecken zum Verweilen und Entspannen. Dieses Haus ist wirklich "schräg", wie beschrieben - allerdings sehr charmant und mit viel Charakter. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet. Alles, was man benötigt, findet sich. Das Grundstück ist herrlich ruhig gelegen, aber alles, was man braucht, erreicht man in kurzer Zeit. Die perfekte Balance zwischen Abschalten und Erleben ist hier gegeben - im Garten und auf der Terrasse lässt es sich wunderbar ausruhen, eine schöne Badestelle ist nicht allzu weit, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nah gelegen, gleich um die Ecke gibt es eine Milchtankstelle, viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten bieten sich an und am Abend kann man auch in größerer Runde am massiven Tisch in der Mitte der Kate gesellig beisammen sein. Die Butzen sind gerade für Kinder mal was anderes - selbst unsere Teenager fanden sie toll (wenngleich sie dafür schon etwas zu groß geraten waren). Unser Fazit: Ein wirklich schönes Domizil für einen rundum erholsamen Familienurlaub! Vielen Dank auch für den herzlichen Empfang sowie Abschied durch die "gute Seele" Frau Heine!!!

    Geräumiges und sehr ruhig gelegenes Haus

    Das Objekt liegt sehr ruhig und trotzdem unweit von Leer. Für Ausflüge mit dem Fahrrad oder Auto nach Leer, Papenburg oder Emden bestens geeignet. Sehr nette Verwalterin und Vermieter.
